   Absolutely shocking. Went in for a Hollywood as, the girl told me it was £18. Was taken upstairs to a freezing cold room where I had my wax. I noticed that the pain was much stronger than normal, but I thought maybe I was just being sensitive because of the cold. After my treatment the lady told me it is actually £30 rather than £18 as they initially advised......after a few hours the pain was still really bad. And it turns out the way has actually ripped off the skin and I am now bleeding in a number of areas around my women's area as a result of this. It's extremely painful and I also can not work as I am a spinning instructor and it's too painful. Would really strongly NOT recommend this place.........

   I had my eye lashes done three days ago for £14. After three days my eyes where constantly irritated, burning sensation and I was constantly crying because of the pain, also my real eyelashes were pulled out when I was eventually able to remove the fake eyelashes as they were attatched in the wrong place. Not happy at all with my first experience with lashes, it will be the last from NY Nails!!!

   I was walking past when I noticed they had a notice up for eyebrow waxing. I went in..there were 3 girls standing doing nothing and another on the phone. The phone girl gestured to me to take a chair and my glasses off which I did. Without a word to me, she started putting the wax on, while she was still on her mobile. Did it all in a couple of minutes while she continued her call. Surprisingly enough, they are ok but the service was appalling and so rude to stay on her phone while serving me. I wont be going back...how rude

   OMG this place is the worst!!! All I wanted was a shellac soak off and repaint. She has totally ruined my nails. So heavy handed! My nails are sore because she used a deburring tool and has taken layers off my nails. Then she filed them and what's left of them are jagged and uneven. When I said I didn't want her to continue she became nasty and aggressive and insisted I pay her £5.00 for the soak off! When I offered my card she said they only accepted cash and demanded I leave 'GOODS' as security. The bloody cheek, I should be charging her as my nails really are ruined. Stupidly I complied and left my fone went to cash point and paid. The only people I would recommend this place to is HMRC to investigate the cash in hand issue and exploitation of underage girls possibly working for less than the national minimum wage.
