I’ve been a patient of Dr Sonya for over 25 years and have always found her to be extremely professional, relaxed and friendly. She occasionally tells me off for not flossing, but I love her sense of humour!! Sonya is also very inclusive and accommodating for my relative with complex special-needs, so I would highly recommend her.
Sonya has been my dentist ever since she opened her practice in Sutton and before that in Epsom. Her dentistry is excellent, and being an NHS patient I have always felt her treatment is on par with private, nothing is too much trouble, everything explained thoroughly and carried out to a high standard.

Sonya has been our family dentist for more than 15 years and throughout that time, I have had a number of procedures that Sonya has carried out. Sonya is without doubt the best dentist that I have ever seen. She is incredibly hard working, warm and funny, always giving her time generously to ensure she carries out any procedure to the highest possible standards. Sonya is also surrounded by a superb team, including Zoe on reception who is always lovely to speak to and extremely helpful, and highly competent dental nurses. I feel incredibly lucky that Sonya is our family dentist, I would not go anywhere else for dental treatment.
I originally joined Sutton Dentists as an NHS patient. Only to find I was then taken off the NHS list without notice and advised I could only get treatment going forward via paying privately. Dr Sonya could not explain why the practice had done this and was avoidant of responding fully to my complaint. This practice appears to only be concerned about private clients, not NHS patients. Be aware, if not already, they may just take you off the NHS list without notice and ask you to pay instead. At a time of cost of living crisis, I'm sure many private clients will no longer be able to afford treatment and need to source a more humane dentist which holds NHS patients as I have done.
