   My father rang yesterday to say that he needed a tooth extracted, he was told that he was no longer registered with them as NHS but could be seen as a private patient. He asked how much and the person on the phone said £75, he asked what this was for and was told a consultation; he said that he did not need a check up - he just needed a tooth extracted; again he was told it would be £75 and he was given an appointment for today (16th December 2025). A little while later they rang back and told him he had to pay the £75 upfront now and by card - he said that he was going to be bringing the cash with him tomorrow as he does not use cards; he was then told that he had to pay as they would not accept cash tomorrow, it had to be paid now! It was procedure. (I paid) Today he went, no check up, xrays etc, they pulled the tooth out and yes, you guessed it they wanted another £120. During the phone calls I heard my father ask, four times, if £75 was it and he was told yes, at no time did they say he would have to pay extra, in fact when I paid the £75, I commented, so this is the total charge he has to pay and I was told yes. Obviously he did not have £120 on him, so he had to drive home, get the cash and drive back. Yes, cash was now acceptable. It was at this point I looked the dentist up on line, (taking the name from my bank account as they obviously took the £120 straight away) and that states £75 is an emergency consultation, which is not deducted from works. My father had no way of knowing this as he was NOT told during the call nor does he have access to the Internet. In my opinion, they took advantage of a pensioner, who will be 79 in a few weeks- £195 to remove a single tooth; especially when during the call at no time was he told that he would be charged more than £75.

   I have been seeing Rosh for a Dental Implant. I have never experienced such professional care before. He is so caring, put me at ease and made the process as comfortable as possible. I am a very nervous patient, Rosh explained everything to me, if I needed him to stop he was happy to take things at my pace.    I went for a routine x-ray and checkup and was initially happy with the polite and professional way in which the receptionist and dental staff communicated with me. However, during the checkup I was advised on having 4 composite fillings, which surprised me as I am meticulous when it comes to keeping my teeth clean. The dentist even went so far to say that one of my teeth had some rot. The bill came to £680 for 4 recommended fillings. So I decided to go to another dentist for a second opinion and got another x-ray and check up and showed the dentist the recommended composite fillings which Morden Park Dental Practice suggested. The new dentist was very surprised as she said in her opinion that only 1 out of the 4 recommended fillings needed to be done and that the rest of my teeth were fine, and that tooth that was described as rotting was not rotten at all. She said it was just the normal shape of the tooth. No issues with it at all and no risk of a hole developing. So I was happy that I got a second opinion from another dentist and saved myself £500 in the process.

   We moved to this practice because my daughter was afraid to even sit in the chair at our previous one. The entire experience from start to finish couldn’t have been better. From booking the appointment with the reception staff to seeing Dr Fernandes, who was an absolute angel, everything was handled effortlessly and calmly. She managed to help my daughter do exactly what was needed to carry out the treatment. A wonderful experience all around, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

   This was my first visit at this dental practice, I came here with my 2 young kids for a routine check up. I was very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how clean the place was. My daughter was very scared to be seen by the dentist initially but staff were very very professional and very good with the children. Both kids were at complete ease with the dentist and they both was smiling and happy at the end of the checkup. My checkup was also very thorough and the Dentist, Fatima was very knowledgable and answered all questions I had and went through a treatment plan for me for the future. I highly recommend Morden Dental Practice.

   I have been registered with the Morden Park Dental practice for many years and very happy with the service provided by this very caring team. Recently I attended the dental practice twice & seen by Serena Fernandes, who I always find very pleasant, kind & caring, talented dental surgeon who can make her anxious patients feel at ease! I was also impressed with the caring & friendly attitude of the Dental nurse, Libby who was assisting her. In my opinion, Vicki Furlong, the Practice manager who has been there for many years is a great asset to this excellent Dental practice team, with her kind & caring professional attitude towards all the patients when making an appointment over the phone & warm welcome when visiting the Dental practice. I highly recommend this Morden park Dental practice.

   We have been registered with this dental practice for many years and the dental team have consistently provided an excellent, professional service. We are nervous patients but their calm professionalism, kindness and expertise have always reassured us. I am grateful to them for their excellent care and attention to detail and also for making the visits as "easy" a trip to the dentist can ever be, with the result that my children do not dread their check-ups nor any treatment that they have needed. A heartfelt thanks to the team for providing such an essential service especially in the face of all the challenges the covid-era has thrown up.
