I have been with NHS Dentist North End Rd for over 20 years under the care of Dr. Afra Godarzi-Mofrad, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable, and consistently provides outstanding care. She always takes the time to listen to my concerns and explains every step of the treatment clearly, which makes me feel comfortable, confident, and well-informed. Her attention to detail and genuine care for her patients truly set her apart. An excellent dentist and a wonderful person. The staff at reception are professional and friendly as well. Overall, very happy with NHS Dentist North End Road.

Not sure how this dental practice gets 5 stars. They are not that good anymore. I have been with them for a while. The dentist who treated me in the past has left. I stopped going to them when they refused to work on my tooth problem as an NHS dentist and asked me to see their private dental surgeon in a month’s time, offering to provide temporary relief in the meantime and quoting a price higher than another private dentist who saw me the same day and resolved the issue. They have stopped taking NHS patients so they should not advertise the practice as NHS dentists. It is now a private practice with existing NHS patients. I now find their standards have fallen - cost cutting is high - they do not wear masks, which is dangerous for disease transmission, they do not provide bibs which is a nuisance but they don’t deem it necessary. Not sure if the same applies for private patients. Their attitude to NHS patients is dismissive and patronising. They have short NHS appointments. Presumably so they can bill the NHS many times. I have been to private dentists and they work on a tooth problem and don’t do temporary work for only 15 minutes and then book another appointment to complete the work. The reception staff attitude is so so and they can be rude - an attitude of they know what you want better than you do. I see a money oriented practice which is fine if it is only a private dental practice. Their advertisement is slick and they are in a prominent position with a large catchment area for dental patients but they should change their name to reflect their current offer and review their care of NHS patients, who need good quality dental care the same as private patients.

I recently had two composite fillings done by Dr Dara Anoushiravani, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The work was excellent, the fillings look completely natural and feel great. Dr. Dara was incredibly kind and reassuring throughout the appointment. He took the time to explain every step clearly, which really helped me feel comfortable and informed. Overall, outstanding care and a genuinely great dentist. Highly recommend!

Dr Afshin and his team Monika and Mustafa were absolutely amazing. They provided a very professional service. Dr Afshin was friendly and reassuring and made sure I understood exactly what he was doing. The atmosphere was very relaxed which helped put my mind at rest. I highly recommend Dr Afshin as I have no doubt in my mind that anyone attending his clinic would agree. Thank you very much. Your empathic customer service skills should be shared with many others in your field of medicine.

Exceptional practice. From the receptionist to the Dentist. I travel from North London as i know your service is superb. I always get an explanation to all any issues and then i am given a treatment plan. I have always been greeted with respect and a smile. keep up the good work. Highly recommended!

We found the dentist who dealt with my husband and I very good disposition, he was understanding, paid attention and explained things about what was happening to our teeth clearly. The dental nurse who assisted him was also very pleasant and good. It was the best experience to date we have had at this dental practice, with regard to the dental aspects. The appointments side was not as good although everyone was very polite and helpful face to face at the desk. The experience when trying to reschedule appointments was not so great trying to get it done, as the person did not fully listen and gave a wrong date causing me to call back and have it rescheduled.

Exceptional practice. Very kind and accommodating staff. Have been patient for approx 5 years and moved the whole family to them. They provide all services - from tooth hygiene to extraction. Very modern when it comes to booking appointments - done electronically and all the checks in are available on the go. Great care provided to elderly and young children. Dr Patel is really kind and attentative to patient needs. Highly recommended!

I was recommended to this dental practice many years ago, by a work colleague. The dental practice is not near to my home, but it was near to my workplace, and was always convenient when I had to go for checkups and treatments. I was first seen by Dr Nancy and have never looked back. I don't have a bad thing to say about this practice as all of the staff are friendly and efficient. I have had bad experiences with dentists in the past, but Dr Nancy has removed my anxiety of dentists. I feel relaxed with her, she explains everything to me and she makes sure that I am offered all the options available. My last appointment with Dr Nancy and Katya (dental nurse) was quick and not stressful at all. Even though I was having root canal and a crown refitted. There have been other times when I have been seen by other dentists and hygienists, and I have still received top-notch service. I recommended this practice to my daughter who is also now a patient. My office has since moved and again, my home is not near to the practice, but I still return as I don't think I will find another practice (and more importantly a dentist) who will make me feel as comfortable.

I was not a regular dentist goer as I was so scared and couldn’t even take my daughter. I first started going to NHS dentist about 4 years ago for check ups and hygienists and I have found everyone to be polite efficient and professional even in these challenging times. I asked to speak to someone at my check up last autumn as whilst I was happy with my top teeth my bottom teeth were over crowded, uneven and increasingly moving and were tricky to clean. This was when I met Dr Aya. She talked me through the process and reassured me and is such a calming, warm person that I actually looked forward to my visits. It was pretty incredible that despite several lockdowns between October and August (the time it took from my first consultation to the completion) not one appointment was missed or delayed. I found the retainers discreet and easy to use. The first 24 hours of each new tray was snug and sometimes achy but otherwise fine. Being at home for most of it made the high amounts of teeth cleaning much easier. Aya took lots of photos at the beginning and end but it was incredible to see my teeth changing over the months. I am absolutely thrilled with the change in my bottom teeth but also was as impressive with how much better my top teeth looked as well. It is a shame that we are still wearing masks as I do want to show off my new smile more. I am so pleased with how it looks. I would and have recommend both NHS dentist and Dr Aya to friends and family. From time to time I see a request for a recommendation for a dentist on Nextdoor and many people mention them so this is no secret!
