   Disappointing Experience and Significant Billing Issues My experience at Winchmore Hill Dental Practice was deeply disappointing and frustrating. I attended with a sensitivity issue, requesting an emergency appointment, but the practice incorrectly invoiced it as a routine examination, leading to immediate problems with my insurance and an unnecessary, drawn-out administrative fight. On top of that, I was shocked to receive a letter from Mrs Shergill that incorrectly described what occurred in the room, seemingly in an attempt to defend herself by gaslighting, and completely misrepresented the cause of the issue. I felt pressured into receiving unrequested services, including a full-head X-ray and a routine scaling, for which the full costs were not clearly explained or consented to beforehand. Despite the cleaning, my initial sensitivity issue remains unresolved. The lack of transparency, the unwillingness to work with me regarding the invoice classification, and the conflicting information have completely eroded my trust. I would advise anyone looking for clear communication and flexible service to seek treatment elsewhere. I have since cancelled all future appointments.

   I've always dreaded a root canal treatment, until I was treated by Dr Jilani. Her caring, patient and relaxed approach to the whole procedure had a most positive effect on me. I liked the way I was involved in the whole process by the way she shared aspects of the various stages of this complicated operation. Her assistant deserves full marks too.

   I have been registered with Dr Mahesh Patel for 30 years along with my family, my children have chosen to stay under his care as adults. He is an excellent dentist and his enthusiasm for providing the highest quality of service and bringing the latest developments in dentistry to his patients has always been clear to see. We trust his advice and feel lucky to have received his care. His welcoming and caring nature has always made us feel very comfortable and he has always made special efforts to accommodate us for any emergencies. All the staff at the surgery have provided an amazing service, special thanks to Rita for her warm and friendly manner, always making everybody feel at ease as soon as we walk through the door.

   I’m absolutely delighted with this practice. Excellent service and my Dentist is very kind and gentle with me. I’m very frightened with dentists and it’s kept me away for many years but after coming here I feel so relaxed and made to feel at ease. I’m having a lot of treatment done to get my mouth healthy again and I am so thankful I have found the perfect place. I’ve had two visits up to now with extensive work and each time I have felt no pain and no side effects. I cannot thank them enough.

   As a very anxious and unwilling patient when the subject of the dentist comes up and after going AWOL for the last few years I took the plunge and was so glad I came across this practice. The most important part in the welcoming and calming process the receptionist, who from the onset was calm reassuring and very professional. I was treated by Manjeet (dentist) and Sevda nurse) absolutely brilliantly they bounce off each other really well and continue to create that calming atmosphere that an anxious patent needs. Everything was explained and most importantly pain free. In fact I have even rebooked for early January. Many thanks for helping me back into the dental system.
