It's not a hotel or serviced apartments or anything, just a block of flats. But it's a very nice block of flats to actually live in.

For the record, firstly you come to me ask if we held a party,I gave the definitive answer “NO”. And you claim that there is mud in the oven, but we never used the oven, In fact, the only things we used during our stay is the sofa, bad and bathroom facilities, cause we check in at 22:00that night and was very tired so we went to bed almost immediately. At that time no deduct of deposits were required, and you say you would refund me right after your bank system was fixed, so I say fine and waited for a week. A week later when I came back to you and ask for my refund, you suddenly told me that my refund would be deducted for 200pound for some scratches on the table, and the only evidence you provide is two videos showing the scratches. But when were the scratches caused? No evidence at all. I strongly advise people to avoid this provider at all cost. It’s a pure scam

40 The Axium Apt G9 is an absolute joke. It's not in any way, shape, or form the 'luxury' apartment advertised on Booking.com. Stench in the corridor. Tables broken. Bed broken. Bedroom smells had to open the window wide. Excrement in the toilet despite us waiting for the cleaner to finish before checking in. One towel for 4 people. No tea towel. Toilet roll with bloodied pin pricks in it. Make what you will of that. Checked in at about 3.30 ish. Out again for 4.30. Checked into a hotel. You only have one star because you have to give a star rate. Waiting for a full refund and maybe more because the hotel was a bit more. They have the audacity to ask for £100 security deposit in case of any damage. Luckily, we took videos and photos when we got in. I won't add photos just yet.

Upon arriving I discovered this is a long-term flat block for permanent tenants not a short term hotel/apartment. However at least one company has been managing sublets through posing as a hotel, offering short stays through platforms, taking excess amounts and then dropping out of contact leaving the would be guests in the lurch. During my attempt to check in at least four other people arrived in the same situation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I booked this place then read the reviews so cancelled . I had free cancellation and the booking was not for 7 months . There was a pending payment taken plus the full amount was taken. The pending payment took 5 days to drop off which is fine but over a week later still waiting for a refund . The payment was actually taken after the booking was cancelled too! I have emailed with no response. I will be calling today too. Not great at all! I would avoid based on my own experience and the experiences of others. So almost 6 weeks on and I still did not get that initial payment back despite it being a free cancellation. I emails, called and messaged and no response from them at all. I was £88:20 out of pocket for this time and as I paid on my Credit Card also being charged some interest. However I thankfully did pay by credit card as I needed to action my card to get a Charge back. As soon as I contacted my card issuer I got the money in 3 days. Had I not used my CC I would still be waiting! Absolute scammers!

I cancelled my booking for this place after they emailed me saying I'd be charged an extra £200 day of check in as a damage deposit despite the fact they'd have my card details for any damages. I was then told it would be an additional £200 cost for if caught smoking, and £75 per additional unauthorised person staying there, whatever that means... I was the only one who was on the booking, so nobody else was allowed to stay with me without me being charged extra??? None of this was mentioned before booking, so I decided against it as the room was a fraction of the cost of the damage deposit that theyd only refund 7 days after check out.

Disgusting customer service, booked last week and they have taken payment PLUS £200 from my account 3 months BEFORE my stay. They're scammers and liars, avoid at all costs

No way the check in time only for three hours. Make so many troubles and problems for travelers, the service is one of the reasons why Birmingham not famous as other city.
