   Fantastic. Went to see Alex as suffering terribly with anxiety. Medication not helping and just couldn't see an end to it all. I immediately felt relaxed with Alex, she has a fabulous personality in addition to her professional skills. I felt better after my first treatment and have continued to improve. I first saw Alex at the end of January. I didn't want to see anybody, didn't want to go out. Wasn't eating properly. The difference now is unbelievable I am feeling more like myself. I am still suffering medical problems that caused the anxiety but I am managing this. I cannot thank Alex enough for what she has done for me. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Not only have my sleeping habits improved imessely, but there have been so many other benefits, including increased energy, dietary habits, and hormone balancing. Alex is very understanding, professional, and caring. She has been wonderful with her tailored treatment to support my 10 year old daughter with anxiety and worries. I would recommend anyone to try this wonderful treatment.

   Alex is very caring, knowledgable and professional. She has a friendly approach which made me feel very comfortable from the start. I initially went to see Alex for hip pain which worked straight away (much to my amazement). As acupuncture is a holistic therapy approach, this lead to treatment and lifestyle advice for stress management and anxiety, which has helped enormously. Currently I go to Alex for 'maintenance' appointments but if I had a pressing issue I know she would try and make time for me. If you are new to acupuncture or thinking of trying a new practitioner, I would highly recommend Alex.

   I cannot recommend Alexandra Illingworth Acupuncture enough, 5 star service all round. I have been with Alex for around 4 months now. I have had a few different treatments and wow I cannot believe how amazing she is, I was very sceptical about Chinese medicine at first until I was recommended Alex for Acupuncture not only are the treatments amazing, relaxing and make you feel great but Alex is highly skilled in her field of work, she remains professional, caring and kind throughout all including aftercare.    I recently took my very nervous eight year old daughter to Alex for treatment. Alex was amazing with her, calm, reassuring and she explained everything to us first, as well as letting us know that there are other treatment approaches such as tuina that can be used instead of needling. Although my daughter was worried about the needles, she did let Alex do a few points and she came out of the session smiling and asked when we were going back. I highly recommend Alexandra Illingworth Acupuncture.

   My child is special needs and we had been thinking about trying alternative therapies to help with his symptoms. By chance we saw that Alex did paediatric acupuncture as well and we decided to give it a try. I had a initial triage call and then we went for our first consultation in Oct22. Alex was very patient, took time to adapt to my little one and get him to adapt to her. And just in the initial consultation, we were able to do some paediatric Tuina. She also taught me to do at home so that I could continue when needed. We have been going regularly and I see a lot of positive changes in my little one. They are tiny changes but still there. The days we have the session, my little one sleeps soundly. I would definitely recommend Alex if anyone decides to try Acupuncture for their children.
