Had food tonight New Year’s Eve 2024! Pizza, shish kebabs, Donna meat all piping hot and lovely forgot to mention the chillies and chilli sauce I could drink it! Well recommended
I ordered online through the Star Pizza app, tried to pay by card for food and delivery, and the app wouldn't accept the payment. So I changed the payment method to pay in store and went to collect the food instead. When I got there, I had my credit card in hand, ready to pay, at which point they suddenly decided to tell me it was cash only. I'd never had that problem there before, so I only had my credit card with me. The bloke behind the counter then very rudely told me, "there's a cash machine over there," and waved me away. I wasn't prepared to draw cash out on a credit card, so I said I'd have to walk all the way home again and get my bank card to go and draw some cash out. He just shrugged his shoulders, so I left and started walking home, at which point I decided they weren't having the money for how they'd just spoken to me. I called them on the way home and asked them to cancel the order, at which point the guy on the phone demanded I pay immediately by bank transfer for the food, and they would deliver it instead. As you can probably guess, I didn't take him up on that offer, so he then argued it "wasn't fair on them" and that it was wrong of me to cancel the order. He wouldn't take no for an answer, so I just said they wouldn't be getting a penny for the faff they'd just caused me, and for the way they'd spoken to me, at which point he muttered something and hung up. Safe to say, I'll never be going there again!
1st time from star pizza,had a donner calzone with mushrooms.Ordered and collected,did not want to wait for delivery.Perfect....

Pretty poor service nearly 2hrs for a delivery I would have recommended this take away but seems to be getting worse.
Polite lads ,and probably the best Donner kebab I've ever had, this place is head and shoulders above the rest in the area
Fantastic food from Star Pizza again! Meat tender with fresh salad and plenty of pickled chillies on the kebabs. Delivered perfectly. All food warm and ready to eat Would highly recommend
Normally I would rate this at a 5, usually great service, orders are always ready to collect on time or delivered on time. Food is always of a good quality and nothing has ever been missed off my orders. Today however I come to collect my food and they missed it off their list to make it! So they're making it whilst I wait. I'll only mark them down 1 star though as everyone has an off day.
Have ordered from here several times but last 3/4 times my delivery has been stone cold with absolutely no remorse or option from the people who prepare the food. I'd give 0/5 if I could. They're lucky I can't change that. It's a shame as they're food and service can be good; they just can seem to be bothered it seems.
