£17 for two breakfasts that took nearly 40 minutes before i cancelled and left. All the mugs were dirty. The place is a dump tbh, shame on Morrisons, the people of Eccles deserve better
The Market kitchen is another huge white elephant of a mistake by Morrisons they got rid of the hot Chicken counter that was popular with local office workers the pizza bar where you could ask for pizzas to be made to your own specifications and cooked within minutes along with a well stocked Salad bar. They invested in an upmarket look and hired chefs on ridicilous salaries to sell meals that you could make at home for less than the prices they were asking and now half the counters are closed. The majority of customers were not interested in this updated look. Morrisons always spend money on updating their image and they always end up making a loss. They are not competitive enough on prices and the local community prefer Aldi & Lidl. We live in hard times and Morrisons dont offer value for money. They call it a market kitchen but you couldn't eat in from there. They have a seperate Cafe where they serve meals from a typical cafe menu. You can buy a cheaper breakfast elsewhere in Eccles.
This is related to the white elephant only or as they call it the fresh food area. 6 or 7 different counters making fresh take away food. Went in the other day at 12.30 or lunchtime if you prefer and ALL of them were closed. Not even, this is what we have left, but stripped and wiped down. All the lunchtime traffic, all the after work shoppers wanting something for tea. Complete waste. I'd love to see the faces of the people who paid for it, just to see it being wasted.
Shopping at Morrison was an absolute delight! The store was well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The staff were incredibly helpful and courteous, going above and beyond to assist me. Their selection of products is impressive, and the quality is top-notch. I also appreciated the quick and hassle-free checkout process. All in all, a fantastic shopping experience that has made me a loyal customer. Highly recommend
The sevice and operation of the Cafe has been declining for years. I don't even think they know or care for its customers. Piss poor standards and missing the basics like cleaning a table. Even having to ask for a table to be cleaned. It was still dirty afterwards, where you have to redo it yourself. And the cafe was so cold. We had to buy a jacket from in the store to keep her warm. Disappointing
Good selection of food on offer. A little expensive but good.
Publish pictures of people to shame them.
Breakfast is still cheaper at weatherspoons, compare to the price with coffee without free refills at £9, weatherspoons breakfast and coffee for under £6
Excellent hot and cold food,great breakfast wraps £5 with a hot drink
Special thanks to Margaret for giving me all the info I needed. There are lots of choices and she enthusiastically went through all of them. The food here tastes as good as anything equivalent in the city centre, but for half the price.
