Wednesday 9th Dec, we decided to have a late lunch at Skipton Pizza Express, there were 5 of us. From start to finish our waitress, Vincenza, was very attentive, patient and helpful. Food was excellent, Garlic Prawns for all, can highly recommend them, then a different Pizza for everyone. Food was fabulous. Slight lack of atmosphere, but this was probably due to time of day, did not affect our enjoyment. Special thanks to Vincenza.

Absolutely delicious food and all the staff were friendly. There was an issue with the bill but the lovely staff happily sorted it out.

I took the opportunity to take up my Pizza Express reward of a 3 course meal for £25 this evening as I was home alone and I didn't fancy going home to cook a meal after a long hard day at work. I had the Meatballs Al Forno for my starter, which wasn't very nice as the meat balls tasted of very unpleasant ultra processed meat. The best dish of my meal was the main course of Sloppy Giuseppe classic pizza. I was very disappointed with my Honeycomb and mascarpone cheesecake with smooth salted caramel and chocolate on a rich biscuit base with vanilla gelato dessert, as despite the very tempting description on the menu, it was very, very sweet and just tasted of sugars. So although it seemed like a good value 3 course meal offer the only dish I enjoyed was the pizza and on reflection I would have been better off if I had just ordered a large Romana pizza for £19, as my starter and dessert weren't very nice.

The food and the service was great. Honestly, some of the best pizza I've had. The staff were accommodating of our dietary and seating needs. The staff and manager were very friendly and welcoming and served us cheerfully and promptly. They quickly corrected a mistake on the starter. We'd come 120 miles on a birthday trip, so it was nice to feel welcome. They were also willing to serve the cake we brought. We were able to use tesco clubcard vouchers to part-pay the bill.

Really quiet a disappointing meal here this evening, the starters came out and where perfect. Happy days, this should be a lovely meal and the restaurants quite so no long wait times.... Close to 50 minutes later tha mains arrived, before the poor family next to us who had, had there starters before we arrived. Two pasta dishes we ordered, how hard can that be to get right... Well the lasagne came and looked great unlike the other pasta meal. Unfortunately as soon as a cut in to this it was fridge temperature in the middle. I couldn't find a staff member so a walk around untill I did and told them my problem with this dish, the say they would rectify the problem stight away and refund the lasagne. Happy days. She then also came over to the table and said she was very sorry and would not change us for there mistake. Unfortunately after 5 minutes a older lady came over and asked if I would like the one I had cut up reheated or a fresh one, she suggested that the cold one was reheated as this would be faster. I decided a new fresh one would be my preference as I didn't want it to be dry unlike the other pasta dish was, she wasn't impressed. The new lasagna turned up around 15 minutes later and unfortunately this was not piping hot but counting my losses and as it was a complimentary a did my best to eat it. We asked for the bill not been given the opportunity to explain to the hostile older lady that the other dish was dry and over cooked. Once the bill came it was everything that has gone through the kitchen. Unfortunately we waited over 10 minutes for the bill to arrive ( 2 tables in the restaurant and 3 FOH staff) as the lady was dealing with a take away complaint explaing to them they would receive a full refund. We managed to go find a staff member and explain to them that the lasagne was meant to be refunded. She started she needed to speak to the manager.. the older lady. One she got off the phone refunding her last disappointed customer we managed to get her over. She started that the bill was correct due to the fact the cooked me a fresh meal. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I had to eat nearly 20 minutes later than my partner because you messed up, I was told if my original meal was microwaved to heat it up this would have been comped! As you can imagine by this point we felt like we where taken for a ride and started we would not pay for the lasagne as we where told this. After the woman getting really quite aggressive starting we had eaten a new lasagna later on we point blank refund to pay for this mistake. She started she could give us a small discount on the bill and nothing else. We asked for a manager at this point as we didn't enjoy been shouted at or lied to. At this point she changed her turn and said no problem I will comp this. I'm guessing she was the manager! Although it the took us a extra 20 mins to pay with no one else left in the restaurant. I'm beyond disappointed with this experience and pizza express, we used them all the time before COVID and this was our first time back. In summery I we won't use the chain again and I recommend avoiding, use the local restaurants instead.

Couldn’t leave a rating on UberEats so leaving one here. Order was late (not the delivery driver’s fault and he was great at keeping in contact). When I got the food, there were virtually no toppings on the pizzas, and they were somehow burnt and stone cold at the same time. Chimichurri dough balls were soggy and tepid, like they had sweated. The tiramisu was missing altogether. Gets a star because the halloumi bites were warm and crisp. And another because their cheesecake was as good as ever. But it’s a shame, not the standard I expect from them at all. Most of it has gone straight in the bin which is ridiculous given how expensive it is.

Popped in here for dinnerWhile on a coach trip through YorkshireThe place was deserted which is not surprising it's so early in NovemberWe had the pandanda pizza which was gorgeousConsisting of goat's cheese sweet Caroline mise onions and spinach to combine with mozzarella tomato and garlic oil and red onions and I had an extra portion of chicken For dessert I had Sicilian Lemon & White chocolate Roulard {A sensual treat} crisp meringue filled with Sicilian lemon curd with white cream andchocolate. I didn't eat it because I couldn't taste the lemon and it's £6-95 I just had one mouthful and left it on the plate, when I asked for a bill there was no question was anything wrong sir he just gave me the bill which I paid and that no time was there any questions asked about why I left the desert. So I felt the visit was a terrible experience

Called for lunch and sat outside at the rear of the building. I was impressed with the huge vegan menu with gluten free options too, which was great for my husband. We ordered gluten free vegan dough balls with garlic & parsley spread, houmous and tomato sauce and olives. The starter was delicious and you would be hard pushed to know they were gluten free dough balls they were so good. Mains were vegan Veneziana pizza and peperonata pasta (both gluten free) with a side salad and broccolini. Again the food was delicious, we could not fault it.... service was efficient and friendly and we had a lovely lunch. Will definitely go back, like using the app too where you can check in, check your bill, add discount codes etc.
