I've been here a few times and it is generally good and has a varied selection of sweet and savoury items. Obviously the coffees need no introduction. There are also iced versions of coffees. This ranch is located withing the Next of Trafford Centre.
I ordered a Wiltshire cheese and ham toastie, my favourite but was disappointed to be told they didn't have brown sauce. We also ordered a small chocolate and a medium latte. The chocolate was dreadful, it was pure chocolate. I took it back and asked for some to be tipped off and more milk. They did it but it was still too thick and sickly. I asked for more to be tipped off and topped up with milk. Eventually it was OK. Also, lots of labels were taken by people sitting and working from Costa. There were two people at tables for four people spread out so people struggled to get a comfy seat.
Good to enjoy your coffee, comfortable, nice, and cozy lighting.
coffee great as usual staff efficient enough not over friendly ,but come on £17 for 2 coffees and 2 cakes it's a rip off ,people have become so blaise about prices .
Took a bit to find Costa cafe which is in/near Next store as signage is poor. But nice atmosphere with plenty of seats and toilets. I asked for a 'hot hot' Cappuccino with the cup warmed up first and I was very specific about this. Needless to say it wasn't! The lady serving me should have been honest with me and said 'hot hot' is not available for whatever reason.
Costa has become more expensive ths. It should be. Glad they still have the quality. But seriously, price is getting out of control.

Not the greatest Costa I have visited! Service was ok, and the coffee was good. However I had a cinnamon brioche, I had to send the first one back because it was to stale to eat. This was replaced, the replacement wasn’t much better!
Useless, slow, unprofessional, dreadful handwritten signs attached to wet floor signs stating they're closed. Consistently close around 7pm. Poorly managed, rude staff. Awful!!! If you'd like a toastie at 1pm, I highly recommend ordering it no later than 11.30am as the service is painfully slow. It would be quicker to sit on the toastie to warm it up.
