One of the best coffee shops in Manchester - amazing coffee! Coffee is their specialty and I think that I would only go for coffee. The atmosphere is a bit less cosy than other coffee shops but nice and quiet for work! I recommend visiting the roastery to get some beans to take home!

I’ve only been here twice, but it’s already becoming my favourite coffee shop. As someone who knows a fair bit about coffee quality, I can say their coffee is consistently fresh, well roasted, and clearly high quality. I’ve tried both the espresso and the cortado - the espresso was excellent, and the cortado had beautifully textured milk and was really well balanced. The customer service is honestly the best I’ve experienced in Manchester. Today, the tall guy behind the counter was genuinely interested in how my day was before even taking my order, which felt refreshing and sincere rather than scripted. Little things like that make a big difference. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Great coffee here, lots of different varieties. I had the usual flat white, very smooth coffee, could drink it all day. nice relaxed feel to the place, they have designated “laptop free” zones which is nice. Biscoff cookie cup was delicious.

Update. So a few more visits now and my review still stands, continues to provide quality coffee, beans and service. It's my go to place for freshly roasted coffee beans. Have tried other online roasters, but find the Manchester blend suits my flat white needs perfectly. Popped in today and was served immediately with fresh beans to go. Polite and friendly staff as always on both sides of the premises wether it's the cafe or the roastery. Atmosphere is always good and the place always looks clean.

The croissant and sandwich is overpriced for what you get. Even the bagel, priced at nearly £6, won’t fill you up at all for lunch. Not worth it. The flat white tasted fine, and the cake was decent with a reasonable price. Raspberry & Almond Cake ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flat White ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bacon & Cheddar Croissant ⭐️⭐️ Ham & Mature Cheddar Sandwich ⭐️⭐️ Prosciutto & Mozzarella Focaccia Sandwich ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great selection of coffee beans, beverages and drinks available. My partner loves the coffee beans to buy and thoroughly enjoys the notes, especially from the Africa region. Probably one of the best mocha I've had ever from here, although I do recommend hot chocolate and the other coffee based drinks!

My favourite coffee place in all of Manchester - good quality coffee roasted on site. The aroma when you go past is intoxicating. So glad they’ve expanded their seating area as now I can sit in and it’s a really relaxing space too!

Independent coffee roasters with a coffee shop located under a railway arch near the canal, Castlefield. The place is very small but bright. It offers three tables for four persons and a bar table for three. The interior is done in an industrial style, which compliments the location and the city's heritage. Left side of ManCoCo is a designated roastery space, while the right side is made as a coffee shop. Some reviews are saying that it is a great place to work, but I did not see it that way. The working space would be pretty small, because it is located under a railway arch there is a loud noise of passing trains every couple of minutes, plus the coffee roasting equipment is creating a constant hum. The place does not have air conditioning, so it gets very hot on a warm day. Another drawback of the coffee shop is that to get to the counter you have to climb a couple of stairs, which makes does make it accessible by a wheelchair. The barista was very friendly, prepared my order of a flat white with a short bread very quickly. He also provided me with the list of their coffee beans to takeaway after I had asked for one. I ordered two different blends and they were ready five minutes later. The flat white I ordered was very good. It might be a rare place that actually makes it from two espresso shots. Ideal for mornings or a midday boost. They also offer a large variety of other coffee based drinks. The salted caramel shortbread was also great. However, overall, the selection of bakes and cakes is limited. For the quality of the coffee, the prices are surprising as they are slightly cheaper than the Manchester average. Aside from coffee beans, ManCoCo is also selling a large selection of coffee brewing equipment. Overall, I would say that ManCoCo is great place to get you freshly roasted beans or a takeaway coffee in Manchester. However, I do not think it is a great place for sitting in, especially for work or reading.
