Awful experience, over priced for what it is no effort into the service or the food whatsoever they had one song on repeat since I first walked in until I left , worst coffee I’ve ever had. Received my food on a chipped plate and was drip fed my order by one thing at a time. Waste of time waste of money ruined my birthday breakfast. Not usually one to complain but knowing I can make better myself what am I exactly paying for ?

Nice place, light and modern interior with plenty of seating. They bake Portuguese Tarts both plain and with various flavours ie. Cherry, Cinnamon. They are £2.50 per tart or £7 for 3 or £12 for 6 or £16 for 9. We ordered a cream cheese and smoked salmon (£7.99) and a pear and goats cheese (£8.50) on bruschetta. They were ok but we've had better. Plus I didn't really think the pear & goats cheese bruschetta was worth the additional 51p it was only one slice of bruschetta as opposed to 3 slices that came with the salmon, see photos. We also bought 6 Portuguese Tarts and took them home, I liked the custard filling but I found the pastry alittle on the thick side, as though it was double thickness.

Great little cafe in the middle of Bolton. Very cosy and modern. Good coffee and better cakes. Seriously, it's a breath of fresh air, especially in Bolton, which is not the prettiest or cosiest place to be. This cafe is almost one of a kind, coffee culture is almost non existent here. I enjoyed my capucchino and my Portuguese custard tart cake. The service is polite, helpful and prompt. It's really a lovely place to be.
