Tesco Express Cheadle Hulme have stopped taking Evri returns. Such a shame as this was the most convenient shop to take the returns. Why stop a service that worked so well?

We come to this shop very often; and while the interactions are limited, it shines through that the staff just really don’t want to be there. They laugh and scroll through their phones in the corner whilst you hover for assistance and show clear disinterest and frustration in your experience at the shop. Whilst there today, I picked up an item with no barcode and at checkout was treated like all I did was bother them; additionally, they charged me a different price. P.S: Don’t put stuff in the freezer that people cannot access due to the crates being frozen in.

I go to this Tesco every week for office supplies. The staff are extremely rude every visit. They do not want to serve anybody on the roll despite having no other work to do. They prefer you to use the self checkout tills, not willing to help if any issues arise. The staff look miserable. It is clear they do not want to be there and would do anything they can to get out of serving a customer.

I've had good and bad experiences here, but I've had mainly positive. While the staff aren't always attentive, I feel like thats a given for a shop like this where they aren't being paid to solely devout all their time to help people. They've always seemed friendly and willing to help if you just asked. One of my main grievances is with how the shop constantly gets rearranged every year or so. It was nice at first but then it got pretty annoying. Especially since some items/aisle types they used to sell aren't being sold anymore by them. (I don't mean changing of stock). Another problem I have is with the clubcard prices. For some items, the clubcard price is shown but not the actual price - so when I do the self checkout, the item is like 50p more than what it says it is. This isn't a major issue to me, but rather an inconvenience. However, for other people it can be more than inconvenient. Now my final issue is regarding a singular experience years ago (that I am certain may very rarely still occur today). A few years ago I used the self-check out to pay for some confectionaries (I paid via £20 note). I shouldve gotton around £18 change, but the machine only gave me £5. I realised once I got home (I'm not that observant) that I was scammed out of £13 by that machine. Now to balance it out, heres a good experience. Once after highschool I bought some things at the self checkout, but i forgot to actually put them in my bag (forgetful). Instead they were laying there at the scanning area for self check out along with my change. The guy working that day noticed this and ran after me to give me what I forgot (exact amount, none taken). This really impacted me and my development through my education to always be ready to help others. Also the inside of the shop looks dull like a funeral home. I miss when it looked more yellow

Useless Employees that couldn't care less. Didn't ask me for my clubcard and didn't give me a receipt. Spent twice as much as I should have and can't even prove it for a refund. Completely useless. Not shopping here again. Clubcard is a scam.

Bought 2 pints of milk for myself and my work colleagues today, didn't even take any money out of the work kitty as I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Milk always milk colored and tastes like milk. Goes perfectly with tea/coffee or if you are treating yourself even with cereal. Great shop

The girl behind the tile was sat down on her phone the entire time I was at the self service till. She didn't even look up once. There was about 7 people in the shop as well.

Sandwiches are almost all of the time one day out of day with no price reduction and on every occasion I've been in there are been hardly any selection on the shelves. On several occasions I've left the store realised, gone back and they've refused to deduct a price or refund me the original money back. When dealing with the staff (especially the small elderly lady) they are rude, unhelpful and much to busy talking about upper management and other stores to warrant speaking to the scum that is the public that come into store. If they don't want to serve people in a professional and helpful manner then they should leave the service industry. Hate this store. It's supposed to be a convenience to use it and it turns out to be a hindrance. Will not be using this store again.
