Very handy for all the basics and saves walking miles around Asda. Late opening times and great staff. Avoid at all costs before and after a match at the Etihad or when the local school kicks out for the day.
Standard Tesco Express shop. Layout is odd but I guess due to the repurposed building. Area is pretty rough and scruffy, litter everywhere, security guard on during the middle of a weekday, etc.

My family bought a pack of chicken today (4th May) from the Tesco store near the Etihad Stadium, only to find out when I got home that it had expired on the 2nd May. It’s extremely disappointing and concerning that expired meat is still being kept on shelves and sold to customers. This is not just poor practice – it’s a serious health risk. I expect Tesco to ensure better quality control and food safety. This needs to be addressed urgently.

Good Staff But Way Too Expensive. I used to go the east Manchester academy and tesco would make me broke. Ordinary squashies was £1.10 Where in lidl they still are 85p.
Always friendly staff. The store is well kept and clean. It has hot and cold drinks on sale. Limited frozen produce. Fair selection of fresh foods. Good selection of grab & go lunch items. Alcohol and tobacco products are also sold. Lotto and utility top ups are also available. There's also an ATM outside near the carpark.
Visited around 10.15pm, 8/1/21, four staff seen not wearing masks, one managed to have a mask on her chin. They had the cheek to stand talking inside to customers who also had no masks and allowed in without a word said. At the counter you are forced to fill you own bag by the guy serving passing you the items under the perspex barrier making you almost touch hands, he also had no mask. security cameras should be checked by management and the staff should be re-trained or disciplined if they have had the training. Shopping is the number one risk for me at my age and with my condition, I should have walked out and gone else where but I needed the food.
