Purely based on interaction with staff that are too busy stocking shelves and look seriously angry if you ask them for help which is an issue is many of the the Aldi stores I was literally stood next to a staff member asking for help and he ignored twice, the third time simply looked at me silently as in to say ( what do you want ) without saying it! I asked about an item and he point to the far corner of the shop replying ( look over there ) to the old rude employee, you know who are, fix up before someone people start leaving names on here

RUBBISH. Even though there are plenty of staff there, the 'new system ' means no manned tills at 8am, so you have to take your trolley through the automated tills. Harder work for both the staff and customers. Please bring back manned tills. Update.Today I was told by a lovely helpful assistant that there is no such rule regarding the automated tills. If you have a trolley you can request a till and be served by a human! Much better. Thank you.

My go-to supermarket. Cheap and good but the fresh produce I tend to want to eat within a few days otherwise they go off. It's better to go to somewhere local or a grocers for fruit and veg. The middle isle also tends to be quite good. There are some really lovely staff that work here too and are very helpful.

This video might put you off Aldi forever, it did me. Saving 10/20 pence on fruit veg isnβt worth it when 60% of the stuff ends up being rotten. This week alone thrown away 2/2 avocados and 3/6 onions. False economy Edit: see video (made the mistake of going back). The last time I ate their raspberries I felt ill for the rest of the day, perhaps this is why.

This store feels quite outdated compared to nearby locations and could really use a full refurbishment. The Special Buy section is small, and the car park is often congested. Cleanliness is an issue, especially around the self-service tills and shopping baskets, which are always dirty.

Great value. Very efficient. Efficiency that all "high volume" organisations should I believe strive for. Staff are hard working, friendly and enthusiastic. They are an absolute credit and inspiration!

Good supermarket just a shame the car park is always packed out by people not shopping in Aldi. To add they have changed all the store around by putting the most needed stuff at the beginning of the store so the entrence is always packed out.

I donβt think itβs actually funny or a challenging thing to do when the staff in the shop scan the items really really quick ( when they are so slow in other things ) and make the buyers suffer to catch up the stuff they have bought I am moving to shop somewhere else because of this senseless strategy. Things get pilled and fall to the ground because of this . I really donβt know what they are trying to achieve !!! Old people and disabled people struggle. And you actually have to be considerate of others !! Just stop it !

It's cheaper than some grocery stores. It gets packed with long queues and the aisles are somewhat narrow. Otherwise it's budget friendlier. There's good customer service on top of that.
