Two staff members made me walk round the entire shop even though I was a few steps away from the exit, one of the most bizarre things that's ever happened to me in my history of visiting shops in general.
I went to buy some alcohol and showed my ID, but I was refused because my partner didn’t have hers, even though she wasn’t buying or drinking it. I accepted it and mentioned I’d just go to another store. As I was leaving, around 7:30 PM today, I commented to myself about the policy in frustration, and an employee who wasn’t even involved in the transaction and whom I didn’t see suddenly called me a ‘retard.’ The guy had the most unkempt beard. It’s surprising how some people in retail forget the basic rules of customer service. The irony of insulting someone’s intelligence when you’re working in a dead-end job is beyond me. Maybe he should focus on improving his own life instead of putting others down. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for
I was just served by a guy who was unable to communicate in any basic human way. He was pretty good at grunting but words like please and thank you were beyond him (even when I pointed out that he had not said thanks at all). Sort your customer service out here Tesco.

Incredible rude young man stood near the tills watching everyone and having a go at the customers 14th Feb 2023 at 16:38, with a pointy long dark beard. I won’t be using any TESCO’s ever again out of principle! Tesco how do you even allow such rude people to work for you? You’ve just lost me as a customer!
I had a very good experience.. where staff doesn’t even ans to their customers…one lady was showing attitude and I asked her where are the eggs and she dint even reply and just walked off… haven’t seen this good staff in any Tesco express… thank you team for showing me ( attitude and racism )
One of the worst impolite people is working there,he is a indian Sikhism, working in the night shift on the 26th Oct 2022 screaming at people and treating them like hes a king, Tesco shouldnt emplots such an stuipd people like him making the brand worst, please look into the cctv and you will know what i talking abouy. It's a well located store by Piccadilly Gardens bus and team stations.the staff are usually very helpful and provide a good friendly customer service.it is usually well stocked but has a limited range of products due to its size.sometimes however it can be hard to navigate if it's busy or they're stocking up the shelves.even so it's very convenient and is open late.
