Iβve been to so many different tesco places where stuffs are very helpful and friendly and having a very positive feedback through tesco But it all changed when I went to 94a Withington Rd, Whalley Range, Manchester M16 8FA here Their is an Asian stuff over here who is middle aged and a bit darker wear glasses I went to the shop first Time and buy a steak. I paid for it and then I leave to the next-door shop then I remembered that I forgot to buy butter and some herbs so I went back again to by those things and pay for only those two items that I have brought, but Asian guy come with towards me with rage asking me why you havenβt paid for the steak. I said I have already paid that then he start questioning me. Heβs apparently judging me from my look as an Asian and he assumedI could be a thief. I have come here before just not too far before minute or so. I just brought that and went outside but I donβt know why he was so busy to notice that. He was coming towards me aggressively And Iβm was trying to calm him down, I was telling calm down youβre being aggressive then when I decided I should speak with the manager that I want to make an complaint to the manager. He said the manager is not available for next week. I thought it should be come to an attention to the Tesco company. theyβre not all the stuff are bad, but some of them makes your company named worse I will never go back to that store again and I will suggest all of my friends and family not to buy from that store.

Security guards follow normal people around the shop as if they think you are shoplifting this is very intimidating I told one to stop following me but he carried on so I did not purchase anything out of this shop went to co-op down the road instead and will never go in there again this Tesco needs closing down............ Manger is also very ignorant and rude

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received at this Tesco location. I was wrongly accused of theft with no clear explanation. A staff member physically blocked me from leaving the store, which made me feel uncomfortable and intimidated. He questioned the authenticity of my bank receipt, suggesting it could be fake, and accused me of being involved in a scam. He then claimed it was just a βrandom check.β The way this situation was handled felt like an abuse of power, and I believe it was unprofessional and unjustified.

I do not go to tesco usually but this is nice little place in the area which I love for its range of products and lovely staff. It has all the modern facilities ample parking spaces and unmanned tills. I also found out today that there are lots of prices difference between normal customers and club card holders and it was a surprise for me. Recommended place.

Only one member of staff on the tils and self service cards only which extended the queue. Rather an obnoxious and very loud lady having a conversation on her phone the whole way around the whole store in 200 fully unfiltered decibels! She held the queue up even further by continuing her call the whole time the cashier tried to pack her bags then decided she wanted to pack her own and made him unpack them as she slowly repacked them whilst booming a load more trivial nonsense out of her large and foul mouth! The cashier was lovey but needed help and we as customers expect better and faster standards of service from Tesco at the express/extra stores given the hiked up prices they mark some of thier goods up with in comparison to the prices of the same goods in thier larger stores. I started feeling really frustrated and anxious as I queued in a long queue that did decrease by one customer at one stage for roughly 10 minutes whilst the Motor mouth chatted bubbles to her pal like she had all the time in the world to kill but we didn't so they should of attempted to move her on quicker and continued to serve the ever growing customers in the queue who didn't have time to stand waiting to pay for such a ridiculous amount of time! AND NO SIGN OF A MASK TOUCHING MS GOBBY'S FACE THE WHOLE TIME SHE BELLOWED ALL HER BUSINESS ACROSS THE WHOLE AREA OF THE STORE! Sorry bit not the best experience attempting to 'nip in and out' of this inparticular store earlier today!

Was passing and needed a few bits so went into this tesco, the staff seem miserable and the store does not look good. The only reason I am giving 4 stars in because after asking what looked like a manager were an item was and just being pointed in the direction and made to feel a nuisance, when we got to the area we had been pointed we asked CHRIS were the item was he took us exactly to were it should be and when the shelf was empty he went into the back and came out with a box from the back. He went the extra mile, did it with a smile and with his own initiative and made our day and saved us taking a trip to another shop. Absolute legand and other staff should learn what customer service is from this guy. Thank you Chris keep up the good work.

I am not a tesco buyer usually but the last months the staff in this branch have very good behaviour n manners making a daily local experience rather nice. Sometimes there are some interesting products for basics like bread milk etc wish they were more frequent. The staff is very considerate and helpful even before the pandemic and continue this exeptional good job during the pandemic. Makes big difference.

I popped into Tesco's Withington Rd branch to pick up a couple of items. I'm giving 5*s to the remarkable Romanian cashier lady for her customer service skills. She was bubbly with a happy go lucky personality. She even gave me a tip on warming the puff pastry mince pie that l bought. Lovely tip. A credit to you beautiful lady & good luck to you in the future.
