The offer is actually quite decent but the entire staff here acts like customers are beneath them and really, they're just doing us a favour manning the til. If I want to see sour faces and unhelpful staff I know where I'm going! Lidl Salford!

Huge selection of items at great prices. Self checkouts are actually made for larger shops, which is great when you want to spend the time packing your bags. Only found this place by chance when taking a walk down the river park. A much more enjoyable shopping experience than my usual (Aldi, Arndale)

The manager of the tills is very rude. I go to this location weekly with my partner for a big food shop. Consistently there are no tills open so we have to go to the self checkouts. The manager here is rude to us every single week. Every single week he looks at us like we're dirt and rudely tells us to go to the tills and wait. I don't mind waiting, I don't mind the tills but I do mind being spoken to like rubbish. I understand people have bad days or things can become busy and stressful but this has happened weekly for months and I see him doing it to other people also. Here's a conversation I just had with him: - Him: "Go to the tills. " - Me: "None are open. " - Him: "Go to the tills. " - Me: "I'm sorry but none are open." - Him: "Are you scared? Go over. " - Me: "No tills are open!" - Him: "Fine, I'll call someone over." Could we not have started with the last point?

I usually enjoy shopping at Lidl Salford – it’s well-stocked, has competitive prices, and is in a very convenient location. However, during my recent visit, I was disappointed with the condition of the self-checkout area. As shown in the picture, the scanner was visibly dirty, and it wasn’t the only one in that state. My checkout station was cluttered with three shopping baskets left around, making it feel quite untidy and difficult to move freely. Additionally, I needed a product to be approved at the till, but had to wait until the assistant finished using his phone before coming over to help. This kind of delay and lack of attention doesn’t match the otherwise great standard that Lidl usually maintains. Overall, I still like shopping here and appreciate the variety and value, but the store really needs to improve the cleanliness and customer service at the self-checkout area to maintain the high standards that regular customers have come to expect.

Great place to grab something on the go and do the weekly shopping. Unfortunately like Aldi and other stores that save on shelf space and quick turnover, shelf life of fresh produce is always limited to about 4 days. At times you find things that expire in 2 days. So forward shopping does come with some restraint. Self checkout is always rammed and not very efficient but the tills when operational seem to get you in and out quickly.

Love Lidl supermarket and we are really lucky in having one within walking distance and a further two a short drive away. Every so often they have 'special' weeks when there are items on sale from various countries with a range of food stuff, fresh, frozen, tinned and packets. It's also great at Christmas with lots of interesting goodies. We shopped at our local store 2 days ago and there was plenty of fresh fruit & veg, despite the recent shortages and restrictions. Its a great store for all your every day shopping needs at very competitive prices

New and clean Lidl in the neighbourhood. The only downside is always missing products (especially eggs and toilet paper). I couldn't get the pattern, but I never saw this shop stocked up fully.

Walked in to this Lidl awhile ago, heard commotion ringing around the store. It was actually a Lidl staff member berating/belittling some immigrant, who clearly didn't have English as a 1st language, who was struggling to work the self service machine. The staff member in question was a lady with a southern accent. In recent days I've seen this again up close with another foreigner. A truly condescending/aggressive attitude towards anyone who falls foul using the checkout machine. If someone from Lidl reads this and can identity this lady, they need to step in and sort this out. It looks terrible and I imagine they've gotten away with it more than once.

I love the different kinds of veggies in store. Cheap and fresh products.
