There was a delay of 50 minutes on Christmas Eve picking up my click & collect, the other C & C customers were getting their orders swiftly so it wasn't an issue with the overall process just a blip with mine. The staff were doing their best to help & it got resolved along with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco which was kind.
As supermarkets go it's a good one. They have a great selection of wines and knowledge staff on that very selection. Loses a star because it isn't an M&S
I recently popped into Waitrose Altrincham to pick up a parcel from John Lewis. I was met with a queue that had literally just developed as a few people who had walked through the doors in front of me joined it. I resigned myself to a wait as we were in the lead up to Xmas. Within a minute several staff appeared to deal with the queue and all customers were dealt with in no time. I was impressed and just wanted to say, well done Waitrose Altrincham.
Always a pleasure shopping at Waitrose Altrincham. The store is clean, well-organized, and consistently well-stocked with high-quality produce, fresh bakery items, and premium groceries. I appreciate the wide selection of both everyday essentials and more unique, upmarket options. It’s a calm and enjoyable shopping experience every time. The staff here are exceptional — friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Whether it’s a quick question or assistance at the checkout, they go out of their way to ensure everything runs smoothly. Easily one of the best supermarkets in the area. Five stars well earned! and sometimes I do food deliveries collecting from here

Not 100% Waitrose related, but one of the female staff has been completely HEROINE yesterday, when my car stuck in a nearby muddy puddle during a night where it’s all dark, she and another lady helped me to get away from that trap. Couldn’t thank her enough, she was absolutely amazing, the company shines with staff like her!!
Great selection of lovely food. Not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. This isn't a large place and that makes it a nice place to shop. Wine selection is good. Staff are helpful and accommodating. The car park isn't that big but even at busy times, like just before Christmas I've always been able to park. There are a couple of other small shops on site like a dry cleaners and menders which makes the whole experience complete.
