The Sainsbury's wasn't open and I intended to do my weekly shopping today Also one of the self serve checkouts is not in working condition when I went
Used to be a great addition to Boothstown, but now the stock is always low and the store has been closed earlier than 10PM on definitely more than one occasion (when the blonde, bearded manager is on shift, it would seem). Hard working and friendly staff, but the tills are rarely manned (stock seems to be more important than customer service to some) and the management - certainly in the case of the aforementioned blonde/bearded manager - is appalling! Shouldn't be closing earlier than advertised and the manager could definitely brush up on his professionalism.
Older lady with a bob hair cut serving behind the till asking shouting to me across the shop to “get my child down” after I was tending to him then aggressively asking me “do you have a problem” - seriously bad customer service and bad attitude
Argos returns not processed properly and not helped by Argos helpline , chat or Sainsburys. Super cross and out of pocket £84. However, updated to 5 stars after I spoke with Richard from the store who instantly resolved my issue. Thanks so much Richard.

Local smaller store but stocks essentials, pleasant friendly staff. Collection point for Argos online purchases.
Went in there to get my morning paper and my lotto , There was one poor lad on his own serving, There must of been about 15 people waiting to pay for there morning groceries, The self service machines weren’t working, As I could see there was one more lady working in the shop, but no were to be seen ? Av never waited nearly 15 minutes to get served my morning paper, You need more staff sainsbury,s or I will have to shop elsewhere, And that poor young lad was trying is best, It’s not fair you doing this to your staff. Sort it out
Nice little Sainsbury’s. Staff are friendly and helpful, clean, well stocked. Always managed to get what needed. A bit dear, but don’t you pay for the convenience?! Enough parking in the back, there are also charity bins for clothes and shoes in the car park, if you have any unwanted items, just bring them here. The only thing I’ve come across couple of times were the groups of teenagers seem gathering outside the entrance and trying to cause trouble for the store, which as a shopper it made me feel uncomfortable as witnessed once the manager was calling the police to report them for antisocial behaviour, felt sorry for the staff really that they had to deal with that. But in general I like this store and always pop in if ran out of something!
I really like our Sainsbury’s local. You can get everything you need here. This is a very welcoming place with friendly, helpful staff and service. It’s great that I can collect any orders from Argos here too. :) I think it would be good for the security guard to patrol the precinct too to add more value to our community.
