Woman on the tills needed to swap checkout with her colleague due to her ‘legs hurting’. Both checkouts had massive queues. The queue I was in, was held up due to her waiting for her colleague to stop serving so they could swap. Anyway, they didn’t end up swapping & achy legs started slagging off her colleague as she was serving me to another member of staff, very loudly. No hi, she didn't tell me how much was owed & she threw the receipt at me. How unprofessional. Not only to me, but to slag off another member of staff so loudly.

Everything you need a low affordable pricing. Branded goods also and good quality. You can make a purse from a pigs ear, you dont need silk worms.

The shop itself is fine but some of the staff need some lessons in customer service. There’s one staff member who is so rude to me every time I go in. She sees me with my pram, a basket full of shopping, waits until I’m next on the till to tell me to move across to another till and then watches me struggle the get my pram through, I have a large pram which is why I go to the till designed for pram and wheelchair access. She always serves whoever is behind me which is what annoys me because she’s just refusing to serve me. Management are never on the shop floor either for me to speak to. She’s middle aged, long red box dye hair and has what sounds like a European accent, she needs to learn how to treat customers and to stop being so judgy!

Home bargains Stockport. On the 22nd of March I went into home bargains in Stockport with my disabled partner, I quickly picked up a few things around the shop because my disabled partner who has progressive ms needed his medication, so when I finished I arrived at the till but realized my partner who is on his mobility scooter is not behind me this is because sometimes he gets confused so as I was looking behind me to see if he was coming down the isle, a lady about 10 years older than me (I'm 55) pushed Infront so I said to the lady as nice as possible "Excuse me sorry i'm in the cue" and she turned her head around and said "So?" And I repeated "Excuse me I'm in the cue" and then she ignored me and again I told her I was in the cue and she replied "The cue doesn't stop for you the cue is moving" I then replied "Excuse me but I was in the cue before you" and she then replied "Ok shut up and move and get in the cue" and I explained "I am waiting for my disabled partner" and then she said the same thing again "Yeah yeah I know shut up and move and get in the cue" and then I said "do you know something have got any idea how hard my life is already looking after a disabled person without putting up with people like you" then a woman on the larger side with coloured hair in a bun Infront of us with another woman shouted out to me "Hey you I just heard what you said to that lady" and I replied "What do you mean?" She yelled back "I heard you having a go at her" and I replied "yes she pushed in" and the coloured hair woman replied "Oh she's an elderly woman let her Infront" and I replied "You only heard the last bit of the conversation you didn't hear it all" the woman started screaming saying "Yes I did" and I replied "No you didn't you was too far away" and we went backwards and forwards arguing which got quite loud and heated and the woman with coloured hair shouted to the older woman "Aw are you alright love? Are you sure you're alright" and the older woman started smirking I replied "Are you alright? Are you having a laugh?" And again the woman with coloured hair shouted "I heard what you said" again I said "No you didn't you've only heard the end bit where you heard me defending myself" I wouldn't mind usually I would be the first one to help anybody, I would give my seat up on a bus I've would give my last penny to someone if I had to, If I wasn't in a rush to get my disabled partners medication I would have let her Infront, but this older woman got my back up because she was so rude, the woman with coloured hair went off screaming and shouting, while this was all happening the older woman was still smiling and my partner on his disabled scooter asked if I was ok. While this was all happening another member of staff said smiling we are opening another till, they did nothing to try and resolve or calm down this situation and the woman that was serving me with long black hair apart from highlighting "everybody will get served at some point" and again she also didn't do anything to help or calm down this situation if anything I think the staff thought it was quiet entertaining to watch and enjoyed what was happening I suppose it is something exiting to chat about in their staff room. I wouldn't mind I couldn't tell you how difficult my life is already I don't just look after my partner in the day I do it at night time also. With the right trained staff that situation would have been resolved quickly. The woman with the coloured hair I seen her looking over to me before the argument with the older lady, to be completely honest she came across as one of those woman who live life to the full which results in hangovers and bullish bad behavior. This shop I have been going to for many many years and I will share my experience with friends and family and will not be going to this shop again.

The girl on the till kept wiping her nose on her hand and was handling everybodies shopping. Low and behold a day later I have a cold... Gross. Needs a lesson in hygiene and customer service

Their stores are always clean, tidy, and bright. They have a lot of cleaning products. I also like to purchase my body and hair shampoos here. There are lots of Christmas chocolate gifts in this shop. One thing though there were always a queue at the till.

Check your receipts here. Advertising special buys at 89p but got charged 99p at till. How many more items are overcharged. Customer service is zero. They used to ask if you wanted a receipt its fairly obvious why now. This is the 3rd local retailer that has done the same, Asda Stockport and Morrisons Bredbury the others.
