Has all the groceries you need but it's always extremely busy during term time. The line does move fast with the new machines and the great staff that manage this. The new layout of the store however isn't as good. You keep bumping into people.

I like Lidl but this one is like a prision. One way in, one way out and your forced to push pass people in the queue if you decide you don't want anything. If you do want something the queues are long. And then there's a security guard at the exit that I'd often stopping people... I've been in the store once years ago and I refuse to go back in. Lidl is one of my favourite stores but this particular one, I avoid

Well stocked but WOW they have done an impressive job of messing up the till system and queuing. The most moronic queuing system ever put into a supermarket. You are guaranteed to end up in a massive queue.

I have enjoyed shopping at Lidl in this location. The items are very much affordable, the store is clean, and it's pretty much easy to find the items due the meticulous effort put into item arrangement with clear tags. I enjoy using the Lidl Plus app as well. I usually get discounted offers frequently on the app, and it's quite easy to use. Good value for money, I must say! I am happy to recommend this place to anyone that needs buying stuff.

Iβve shopped at Lidl for a while and never had too many issues until today. I did my usual weekly shop, paid, and scanned my receipt to leave. The security detection went off, and I was stopped at the door. I understand this is procedure, but the way I was treated was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. The security staff member barely spoke to me, spent several minutes staring at my receipt without actually checking my bag, and then muttered something I couldnβt understand. When I asked him to clarify, he just said βburgers.β I took them out, showed him they were clearly on the receipt and paid for. Even after proving this, he took more time, then dropped both the burgers and my receipt back into my bag without a word of apologyβjust a gesture to leave. I find it unacceptable that a loyal paying customer is treated this way, as though Iβd done something unlawful, with no courtesy or acknowledgment once it was clear I had paid. Very poor customer service and utterly incompetent handling of the situation.

This Lidl branch has almost all household necessities. Usually well-stocked with variety of brand options. Sometimes a bit too busy due to heavy student population, but fast at self check outs.

First time I've ever been in here and I was quite surprised. It's a great shop, not huge but you can get pretty much everything that you would expect from any store. It was clean and the chilled foods were well stocked and the meat and cheese were a fair price. I had a good bag full for about 20 quid. Not bad at all but I did have to serve myself though. I would come again.

The prices are great, I've always shopped here. Usually there's been great customer service... However this morning I was served by 'Aliah' I think her name was on the check out. No hello, no good bye, not even a smile. Passing my items on the check out in an fast abrupt way... Not a great experience. I've never felt so rushed and the basic customer service skills weren't there. I snapped a nail in the process because I felt like I had to hurry up. Other staff have been helpful. But I do not wish to feel like that again, as we're near the Xmas period I hope her customer service skills improve. Especially around the elderly to, I dread to think of some frail, lonely lady being served by her. Never one for complaining but that was out of order. Either learn/train about customer service skills or don't work within that sector if you so evidently aren't that kind of person.
