Simple maths that guy couldn’t do, I watched him overcharge, he knew exactly what he did as he didn’t offer to give me a receipt.

I always shop from this store in Manchester but one thing has remained consistent - the rudeness of the staff. Makes me feel like I’m back in Nigeria. I complained once and the man that was scanning my items scolded me like I was a child. It really pissed me off. Last time I was there, the lady at the counter looked offended. She would get up and walk out on us without saying anything. She would come back and continue scanning items as slowly as possible. They find it difficult to have good customer service and they’re extremely hostile about it. I get most things I need from there so I shop there as a matter of necessity but it never fails to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Once I find an alternative, I’m not going there ever.

This review is based on my online purshaced experiaced. One: The delivery service is poor, not delivered on time and my items are missing. Two: The customer call line is not responsive. They like to say we will call back and never recieve no call from them. Third: Missing items is very difficult to retrieve.

I just want to point out here that you can never have the same experience shopping online and shopping physically. I shop from this store regularly to buy my monthly food items. The month my car broke down and I decided to order online, I had a terrible experience. You need to see how tiny the yam that they sent through. Also, chin chin supplied was opened, I guess they didn’t check before packing. If you want to save some money, try to shop physically . I have however sent an email as regards this and I have accepted my fate but will definitely drop my review for others to be aware.

The manager and staff are really so unprofessional and poor customer service, they treat customers with lack of respect like they have no training at all ,and they don’t seems to know what they are doing . People will have to go back to where they shop before ades comes to Manchester ,this is my3rd times experience with the whole team, its nothing to write home about yo....

The coldness of the staffs is excusable but no excuse what so ever for the chefs who cook their Asun meat. The Chef's have not health and safety hygiene training and this is why alot of African business fail in this parts of the world. I've bought Asun 7 times and there's always been some eyelashes and synthetic weave hair sticking out in every single bowl of 7 mixes clearlybots no mistake but a disgusting habit and cos no one has spoken up they get away with this behaviour, obviously fallen onto the dish cos the right clothing wasn't worn during the food preparations ( and no its not goat hair pls). Simply put FOOD CONTAMINATION. Customers are charged excessively and get the bare minimum service/ goods. You're paid so why not deliver?

Closing sign said 8pm ran to Manchester branch and by 7:45pm the doors were closed. Can you please change the sign post outside. It’s deceptive. Online also says open till 8pm. Now I have to run to moston to get what I need.

Decent Afro-Caribbean shop. Fantastic layout, neat and well presented supermarket with goods at sale at market prices (prices are same as Moston market). Excellent customer service too, as staff eagerly helped with purchase, as well as getting my goods to my vehicle. I recommend 100%.
