   This is a great supermarket, it has most of what you need in a nice manageable size. It’s rare that I would go shopping here and not find what I need, even more obscure items. The wine selection is great, with a good range of other drinks too. The layout of the shop is a bit odd for some products but most things can be found eventually and the staff are always very helpful. The only downside is that the car park can get very busy as it’s one of the main car parks for town as well as several other popular shops. Traffic getting out can be pretty frustrating at times too, but nothing to get too worried about. All in all a great supermarket, perfect for a main shop or a top up shop in the week.

   Fabulous store with everything you could ever need under one roof. Plenty of parking and well stocked. Staff are friendly and the store is well laid out. Plenty of self service tills means there are less queues.

   Sainsbury's Selby is a typical supermarket with two hours free parking close by. It's clean and we'll manned. Often found empty shelves of basic items at busy times especially late afternoon. Staff are friendly and helpful.

   Needs more staff. Annoying that it was not long after 7pm and they were making a couple with a trolley go through the self-serve and the one and only staff member was scanning for them which meant 3 other tills with red lights just had people stood waiting for assistance, and therefore a small queue for self service. UPDATE However, today (a Sunday, Jan 2023) was okay and plenty of discounts on vegan things for Veganuary

   They have stopped stocking a lot of their own brand products meaning a shop is really expensive. This is my usual weekly supermarket but I’m now going to go to Lidl alternate weeks. Staff are lovely I should say and will usually open a till if you ask.
