   Rude and ignorant staff who have zero interest in helping you. Christmas time and youre made to feel like youre an inconvenience to them. Only use this store if I have to. My advise...dont go in with expectations of a happy visit...expect to palmed off and made to feel like youre actually a problem to them. Using the self service...if you need assistance youre waiting ages for a sour faced colleague to come...belittle you and then argue with you.

   I used to like shopping here but now I come home with a splitting headache with all the pushing and shoving down the isles that are crammed with goods that should be on the shelves. I prefer to travel to tesco extra in york as you can freely move around with a trolly without having to constantly apologise to other customers shuffling around each other.

   Filthy, dirty store. I complained about excrement on the floor of the gents toilets. The supervisor said it wasn't her responsibility. Fine, shut the place then.

   Very poor customer service. I was over charged on an item of baby clothing. I went straight to to customer services with item and receipt thinking the lady would rectify. She kept repeating “ Nothing to do with me. I can’t comment” she then began to serve the woman behind me, both smirking.

   We use Tescos all the time in Selby but was shocked recently to find that they now have basket and trolley payment areas but all are card only!!! Card and cash would be OK just like everywhere else but its shocking for those who like to use cash. We have not been back since and will not return and I know many others have said the same. Will use my vouchers and then cancel the club card, sad because this is the only reason we used the Tescos fuel station which we have also sacked. Shame but Morrisons is good too.

   Very popular little store. You can be in and out quickly. I'd suggest that they remove the gender signs from the toilet doors though as they're unnecessary with just one cubicle for each.
