   Reduced out of date food goes hand in hand with reduced quality of staff. Most of the staff including manager named James is rude and does not care about customers. Long wait to be served due to low staff because they clearly have a high turnover more than likely due to badly run management. Girls will chat to one another over the headset or be on their phones whilst serving on the till. Won't be going again until there is a better quality of staff.

   EXTREMELY rude staff with awful customer service 'skills', they shouted at an elderly man who politely tried to bring to their attention that they were selling food MONTHS (plural) out of date. My family have been customers for 10-15 years but will not ever be returning.

   A large red sign clearly stated “£5 for 5,” but at checkout I was told the promotion hadn’t started yet. There was no signage explaining this, and the manager offered no apology, only saying that labels were placed early due to staff shortages. Very disappointing experience.

   When I visited Heron Foods, it was one of the best visits. The store has a variety of different items and reasonable prices. In addition to their employees at work. All respect to the customer. When I came to pay, a girl was busy chatting on the phone. When I paid, I told her I wish you a nice night, thank you. But she didn't hear, she was busy chatting on the phone. I don't know if the phone is more important than the customer? As for the store, you have different types, I advise you to visit it.

   This is my local shop and as a vegetarian it doesn't offer much, once in a blue moon they will sell certain vegetarian specials then when they sell out never get them in again!. Staff are nice and friendly but the shop needs to update it self with today's different eating preferences we are not all meat eaters!.
