My favourite retail shop to buy my shopping here and too close to my house

One of the best Lidl stores I've been in. Always seems fairly well stocked.

Good shop for basic needs. It can be a bit hit and miss with produce but relatively good.

I just popped in for some bread but ended up getting a few extra items. Their strawberries looked and smelled divine so I had to have those. The black seedless grapes found their way into the basket too. Further along, the at the meat fridges, the sausages looked inviting, so in a packet went and oh, that rump steak was just too perfect. “Now what was it I came in for? Ooooh, donuts…..mmmmm. A jam filled one is just the ticket. Oh look, bread, that’s just what I need.” Got the bread and realised my basket was fuller than it should have been, so hightailed it to the cash desk to pay before I saw any more. Oh oh, too late, biscuits, in the basket they went. Managed to go and pay for everything before I put any more in. Beware!! A quick visit to Lidl is never quick. Seriously though, a clean, well stocked, bright supermarket. The fresh produce is a good standard. The strawberries and grapes were divine. It is well worth a visit.

We have just moved to the area and were so happy that our local was a Lidl. Staff are very polite which is a really refreshing change from some other similar supermarkets. Also the store is clean and modern. Sadly as others have pointed out this store seems to suffer from some pretty shocking stock control. Over several days and times as per the photos below there has been consistently poor stock levels, the bakery seems to be the worst affected by this. I really hope you are able to get the stock problems under control which going by others reviews has been going on for quite some time now. I get that you need to manage wastage but this seems too be conservative in terms of what’s being ordered. Please sort this out and I will gladly edit this review to 5 stars.

Great for bargains...I spend about 40 pounds per shop here...and then get other products at ×+!@&%..meats are great and tinned...and cleaning products

I recently had an experience at Lidl where few products were accidentally scanned multiple times, resulting in me being overcharged. I didn't notice this until I got home and checked my receipt, and I ended up paying for items that I didn't actually buy. This has happened to me more than once, so I highly recommend that everyone checks their receipts carefully before leaving the store. While this experience was frustrating, I appreciate that Lidl offers affordable prices and a wide selection of products. However, I do think that their checkout process could be improved to prevent these kinds of mistakes from happening. Overall, I still think Lidl is a great option for budget-conscious shoppers, but be sure to keep an eye on your receipt and don't be afraid to speak up if you notice any errors.

Would be brilliant if this was well stocked like some of the other local stores but again times there are a little of bare shelves. Other than that can't fault the place. Parking fab that was until that daft gym opened.

Ok store. Has most of what you need rather than want..prices are competitive to bigger stores. Car park is usually at 50% or less. Just need to get rid of the stupid coin trolley system.
