Just been into shop and never in my life have I ever felt so uncomfortable in a shop bloke behind till on his phone speaking in another language didn't even speak at all and young lass stocking shelfs didn't even speak wow customer service 0
Had an Amazon parcel, next day delivered here. Took a week for it to get there because they kept refusing delivery. Finally accepted the delivery. Went down the same night, they said they couldn’t do it as they was busy and system isn’t working, but the person before me got a parcel… going down again in the morning to try. He was on the phone all the time taking to both of us. Rude
They loose parcels ! Go else where ! Miserable, incoherent ‘shop keepers’ who act like they are doing you a favour just serving you and taking YOUR money. Seriously if you’ve got an alternative place to shop & spend your hard earned cash go there ! These people are rude and clearly incompetent! They ‘loose’ parcels ! Thank goodness Inpost have fitted soon to be activated ‘lockers’ at Goldthorpe Aldi ! Will never set foot in this awful place again ! They’ve cost me time and money ! What a disgrace of a business this is.
Had the misfortune to have a dpd parcel delivered here , the “Manageress” was unable to locate a parcel with a valid collection code, and was unwilling to check the 4 parcels that she did have in a cage about 2 feet away from her to locate the one with the same code and my name and address on it. Laziness at its best.
Don't play the lottery here as they keep the money you win scan your tickets on your phone coures iam £10 out of pocket
This shop has been a disappointment throughout covid as they do not enforce the wearing of masks and or face shield in store. This is a shame as the staff are mostly friendly, one or two have been rude and aggressive with customers challenging the lack of face masks... a government requirement not an option for personal choice. The food is good and fresh but the store has been let down by lack of effective management during covid. 2, August 2021 Unfortunately the ineffective management continues with yet another staff change. Those staff who go above and beyond for clients and make us want to come back are eventually worn down and leave or make errors. The latest staff changes bring yet more confusion for customers in store. The refusal to follow government policy about wearing masks in store continued throughout covid leading myself to have to avoid the shop though other family members did use when they needed to. If another option was available though this was the preferred choice. Bring back Dee, Daz, Sarah and co who knew how to get on with customers and manage a shop. There is more to it than just filling the tills.

Good local store, not bad prices, most of the staff are helpful and friendly.
