There was a moment where meat and chicken are stinky and they still want to sell you that, reported to the guys and they weren’t bothered so decided this place is not for me anymore and will warn everybody that meat are for eating not for trash.
The shop smells disgusting. I wasn’t able to stand there for a minute. I have visited so many stores who has the meat section but this shop it was unbearable.
The prices are always high, vegetables and fruits sometimes ruined but on shelves with same price as fresh, many times I had meat like mince, unfortunately they look fresh however when I go home and wash them it turned to alot of fat and small amount of pink meat , I found this strange, I would not recommend but we as Muslims have no choice, all halal shops like this
This is the butcher's section, some of the staff are rude, I enjoy buying the hard chicken for the family, and I prefer to have it gassed, if you find a rude staff, all they state, there is no gas. If by luck you find a kind staff, he will do it for you. I wonder if they offer this service or not?
This review is a bit late. I used to visit this supermarket between 1993 and 1996 whilst I was at university. They made the best samosas I’ve ever tasted. Now almost 30 years later that is still the case. If I’m ever passing that way again I will take a detour just to see if you still make the best samosas ever.
Nice place for Asian food
Got yelled at over the phone for calling and asking if they had rice and if so how much the price was. Guy said “brother, you ask too many questions and hung up”. The prices were significantly higher than other nearby stores.
They charge you extra if you use your debit or credit card.
Mt fav asian grocery store in burley . they stock vast variety of items and I just love browsing through their shelves... yeah I always buy more than I go in for but its quite ok with their competent prices
Very clean and tidy, items well spaced out and isles not too narrow like most places. Items look surprisingly fresher than their competitors and prices are definitely lower. Parking is a lot better than most, especially when considering the area. There are a lot of places to choose from in this area but this is far better than most.
