It's been a while since I was here last. Found equally good if not better store closer to us in Walsall. So therefore, it isn't a great loss to us for not visiting this store.
Mixed experience overall, the shop offers a lot of variety and halal options, but in terms of hygene there seems to be perishable food left out in the open for days, some fruit is spoiled just left out at the front of the shop and nobody replaces it, it's just left there to spoil, one time I saw one of the fruit started leaking juice all over the place and there was flies buzzing around it, generally fruit I bought from here never lasts as long as fruit from the local supermarket either, so if you get something still fresh best to just eat it right away or freeze it. Best products are the ones that are non-perishable, although once I bought a tub of pistachio kulfi that had a hair in it, not a nice experience but not really the fault of the store. Never got sick from eating food there as long as I used common sense and it's a good place to pick up things for the pantry. This store has introduced me to a lot of foods and i have a lot of fond memories of trying new foods as a kid.
Foods always amazing and fresh, staff are always very kind and friendly one of my favorite shops
Got chicken palak for five pound went home food is not fresh please check before buying any food that’s cooked here !!
So many choices of spices and ingredients you need to be an above average cook to know how to use some of them. I could spend hours in there just checking things out 10/10
Superb range always very friendly you have to walk down twice because you were Mr Bargains they keep them hidden
Best place to get your different food,fruit,meat ,fish etc u can get your african food to buy .
