   Awfull. not a traditional fish and chip shop at all folt more like a storage unit for fish and chip boxes. curry sauce was basically water. nothing ready to go. waited ages. chips not great sausage under cooked/

   So dissapointed! Had this a few times always been really good! Today ordered food got home and unpacked the food, the saveloy was covered in fly eggs.

   Very very disappointed. I was in shop Ordered 3 fish and 3 chips. i didn't wait to long , he said order is ready. And he asked me if wanted salt and vinegar on the chips I said yes with with both as 1 of them was cheesey chis . Then he told me I only ordered 1 chips . I said no I order 3 and 3 you got it wrong. He said I should concentrate on him when ordering , we are a expensive fish and chip shop . You got your order now he pushed the bag towards me and told me to leave in a very aggressive and angry and manner. What great local attitude. No professionalism. Here attached the photo of the horrible burnt fish. I do not recommend this place . They are too busy watching hindi movie on there phone.

   After seeing some bad reviews here I thought I'd write an honest review. I have ordered fish and chips from harrys chertsey pretty much every week. I have never. I repeat never had any problem with my order. Chips always cooked well not greasy and soggy like suggested in other reviews. Again the fish batter always light and fluffy and cooked properly. As I say I order from them weekly not once had a problem. Also will add the delivery is quick and hot on arrival Don't let the reviews with clear lies put you off, this fish and chip shop is good try a order and judge yourself, you will not regret it if you want fish and chips.

   Took 15 minutes for the food, but I was the only customer at 5pm so they could have just been opening. Portion size is very small compared to other local take-aways. £5 Kids meals have 1 small sausage or 3 small cod bites and a handful of chips. Large chips is only enough for one adult not to share like others can be. It was over £8 for the large chips and sausage but the battered sausage was A* My total bill came to £18.60 for two kids meals and one large chips and battered sausage

   Chips are £2.80 for a small (12-4-21) that are not a bad size, more than I could eat for lunch and they was very nice too, will pop in again sometime, staff are friendly.
