    More comprehensive than I'd imagined. The atmosphere was cool, relaxed. The attendant had evil in his eyes. I carefully edged my way across the shop floor, heading for the cake aisle. I could feel his cold eyes on me, scrutinizing my every move. I rapidly scanned the shelves for Madeira cake, my dad's favourite. I knew my time was limited so I grabbed the first one I saw and hurriedly went to the counter, desperately fumbling in my pocket for the money I badly needed to pay for the item. "Hi" the attendant said, "anything else I can help you with?" Sarcasm, I thought. I like it. He's going to make his fatal move any moment. "No thanks" I replied, handing over the money. Then I left, counting my lucky stars I escaped in one piece. Lovely shop, lovely, cheerful, helpful people.
