   The shop itself is fine. It’s a small Tesco. The staff on the other hand…. Absolutely awful. Rude and ignorant. We’ve all had a job we don’t want as a student, but manners cost nothing. Huddled around chatting about their personal lives on the shop floor - tills unmanned.

   Small high street Tesco's on Fargate, Sheffield Centre. I'm usually just calling in to grab a meal deal or a Danish. Has most things you might need quickly, it's not like you will be doing your big shop here anyway. Self service tills available which have always worked done, and there is a manned counter, but I've never used that.

   Ah, Tesco High Street, where the doors say open till 11, but in reality, it’s more of a surprise pop up shop that closes whenever it feels like it. Need to grab something at 8 PM? Better roll the dice, will they be open, or are they off taking deliveries behind closed doors? Apparently, stocking the shelves takes priority over actually serving customers. Wild idea, Tesco: maybe take deliveries before you open or after you close? ‘Every little helps’… but not when you’re locked out. The staff? Friendlier vibes from a parking ticket inspector. When they’re not busy ignoring customers, they’re huddled in aisle 1 having a mother’s meeting, gossiping and bitching like it’s the office water cooler. On the rare occasion someone’s at the counter, they’ve got their feet up like they’re at home, glued to their phone. Smiles are on lockdown, and getting approval at the kiosk is like waiting for the next season of your favorite show. And the tills? They’re a myth at this point. It’s no wonder the place gets robbed,there’s more chance of spotting Bigfoot than a cashier. Tesco High Street: where store hours are fiction, service is a slow burn, and deliveries are an exclusive after-hours affair. Fix your hours or your delivery schedule,right now, it’s a circus.

   The new Tesco on Fargate is well stocked and well placed. The problem is the staff seem arrogant and unhelpful. Don't have cash kiosks. Only card kiosks. Leave you waiting for assistance and then rude when they speak to you. Need to lighting up and be more professional.
