Absolutely disgraceful system.Long time ago I was working in Sheffield over summer and got ONE envelope sent to Poland with 8 tickets inside, adding up to more than £400 for to long parking where I been doing shoping around and on the end in Aldi. No warning, no chance to correct anything - just a pile of fines all at once. This is nothing but a cash grab and a trap for ordinary people. Completely unfair.
12+ self service tills. One member of staff struggling to manage. Modern day shopping at most High Street supermarkets sadly. At least the CEOs get their bonus, while we get bad service, scan and pack our shopping
Very cheap, but slightly low in quality particularly fruits and vegetables. The store is always busy but the distances between ailes are bit small, so sometimes I almost bump into people's trolley. Good choice for daily shopping, they also have some household essentials.
If you are in the mood for the authentic feel of a humanitarian crisis then this is the place for you. There is a sense of grim urgency as you schuffle through the packed isles occasionally wrestling with a heavily pregnant woman for a scrap of meat. Parking is usually available though. See you there
Friendly staff. This is a modern clear bright Aldi with plenty of parking off a main ring road. The selection of food is good but a bit to much household related stuff. It gets very busy here in the afternoon's. Mornings are quite though. Please please make all the self checkouts cash exepting please. Its lucky if there is one for cash. You have lots of checkouts unused while I and others wait for the cash one. Cash is king remember.
It was good busy but I spent loads less. Not everything is cheaper than anywhere else but it's cheaper. I haven't been for years & they've started to understand the UK shopper better than shops & brands considered British.
Great place for general affordable groceries shopping. The one thing I love Aldi is the price that can maintain competitiveness without the need to have a membership. Therefore, one doesn't need to have the mentality to find what is on discount for members or a minimum spend to get discounts.
Great and affordable grocery shopping place for students really! You can find almost everything there, in the city too, all good just a bit of a bad side is there are always many people there and you always need to be in a queue, but not anything too long though. I'm glad now that they install the self-check out counters so it helps a bit with the queue.
