   Parking is becoming increasingly difficult for this store as it’s also used by people at the school who have quite an attitude problem towards you for just trying to get parked, a large majority don’t even use the store thus making it difficult for those who want to shop. At times these individuals are even parking dangerously to the point where twice returning to my vehicle I was almost run over on the zebra crossing by drivers overtaking parked vehicles next to it. Spoken to staff regarding this on multiple occasions as it’s detrimental to their own shoppers and I’m either met with empty responses or apathy. I think it’s time to take my business elsewhere.

   I popped in here briefly to buy just one item recently. They had what I was looking for so scooped up a handful and made my way to the till. I saw that there was one lady at the only check out - the idea also here is that you use the self check out tills. I refuse to use them. I am not a Coop employee, I don't get a salary there, no Christmas bonus, nor invitation to their annual Christmas celebrations. So I waited behind the queue to be served properly. But surprisingly one of the young male employees saw me waiting and, without my asking, promptly opened up a second till at which he checked me out. Excellent. All they now need to do is take out all the self service tills and return to being a normal, professional, customer friendly supermarket.

   The only complaint is having to use these ridiculous self service tills as there was no one operating the one conveyer belt and the poor lady at the kiosk was alone with a queue! I’ve never managed to use one of these self service without needing an assistant. I only looked at it and it immediately said an assistant was on the way. Then after getting me started she left and went on the conveyer belt till! I persevered but had to call the assistant another 4 times waiting an age between each call! At one point there were 3 of us waiting with only the lady behind the kiosk having to leave her till to help us out! It took far longer to finish and pay up rather than use the conveyer belt! Bring back the conveyer belts please!

   I understand that working on Christmas Eve is not pleasant, but I was disappointed by the service I received at this store. They shut the doors 15 minutes before the closing time, and I was not allowed to enter. When I was in retail, I would never do that to a customer, or I would face serious consequences from my manager.

   If you want to be hassled by multiple charity workers every single day, come here. Also most people who drive here can't park, and park across 2 spaces or at crazy angles - including staff members.

   A larger Co-op Food store. Compromising a large range of products, a fresh in-store bakery section, homeware section, electrical items, party ware and online click and collect ordering. Lots of great deals and lower prices on essential items.

   Well stocked given the size of the store. Constantly improving vegan options in the GRO range. Can be slow checkout if not using self service.

   Not a bad choice of products for a small supermarket. A bit on the expensive side but can get some really good bargains in the reduced stuff. Friendly staff and pleasant music. Would have been a 5 if there was more all round value for money.

   Not bad for a village co-op. You can fill most of your weekly food shopping needs here, including fresh baked bread. Clean and tidy store. Friendly staff. Slightly slow check-off as there are only a few tills and most were closed.
