Prices don't match at the checkout too often. Something marked at £1.50 at the shelf is £2.30 on the self service till. Really annoying when you are in a rush and there are people waiting behind you. It has happened about 5 times to me and with prices always on the up, it's making me believe I should go elsewhere.

Not sure who the new staff are but they're incredibly rude. All congregated behind the kiosk. Their attitudes are a quick fire way to ensure people walk a couple of minutes to the coop as I know that's what I'll be doing and is the very reason I now spend the £100s I used to spend here on my monthly shop at iceland. Bring back the usual friendly, helpful staff. Nobody likes arrogance

The staff are brilliant they get 5 stars The problem is that all the asdas own stuff is disappearing from the shelves. There is next to nothing in the freezers, from the asda range. All brand name stuff at high prices.

The store has a clean and well-organized layout, making it easy to find what you're looking for. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, and the store is usually well-stocked with a good selection of products. Overall, ASDA is a convenient and cost-effective choice for grocery shopping.

The best supermarket I have ever visited, the staff are super helpful and they stock a vast array of alcohol and crisps … what more could you want other than …. Kevin not knowing how to park . Andrew not liking blue rinses And Azja needing the toilet all the time and the lack of cheese and chive dip for Lee.

Local Asda supermarket, located in a good position at the entrance to a large housing estate and also servicing the rest of Royston. The store is big for a local store and has a very wide variety of items. Good fresh section for fruit and veg, and 1 and a half aisles for fresh such as yogurts, meat and dairy. There is an in store bakery with fresh bread and cake products, as well as a hot chicken and snack section with breakfast sandwiches and pasties. Very good selection of wines and spirits and tobacco sales and lottery on one of the checkouts. At least 6/7 self scan checkouts and 3 staffed ones so not often queuing. The self scan checkouts have recently been renewed and are excellent. The staff i have encountered have been helpful and friendly on the whole, although there was one single staff member who took offence at having to clean a spillage up that i reported to them. Decent size car park with a clothes bank in the middle and cash machine just outside the entrance. Large items such as compost and kindling are often displayed outside on pallets. In the immediate area (within a couple of miles) competitors are Aldi, Co-op and a One Stop local shop. On the whole, a really good local Asda, very convenient, excellent choice considering the size and prices the same as a normal superstore. Recommended.
