   Always do my food shopping here week in week out, recently a new girl has started there, several times I have walked past her whilst she has been putting stock out on isles, whilst she engages in idle gossip with other staff, her language is foul swearing every other sentence, completely unprofessional to be doing this with families and young children trying to shop there, I believe her name is kate or katelyn I heard another guy (worker) shout over to her this evening. I will be avoiding this branch in future.

   I love coming to Lidl at 3.45pm on a Sunday to get 3 or 4 items, only to be shouted at by two members of staff patrolling the aisles (not on the tills) screaming "make your way to the tills the shop is closed". To then get to the tills at 3.50pm and there are a dozen people at each of the two open tills queuing half way down the shop. Why are these two idiots not manning a till getting people out of the door faster. There are 7 available tills in total and 5 closed. Make that make sense. Oh and why on earth are the fridges closed at 3.45pm????

   PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE... I went to Lidl on 23th October 2025. This Lidl is more than 5 miles away from where I live. I was in the area so I popped in to buy a few items. A male staff member charged me £3.59 for a quiche which I never bought. I noticed that when I came home and checked my receipt. I called their customer service which is absolutely rubbish and hopeless. You only talk to machines and get no help at all. 28 October: I have sent an email to customer services for four days as Jemma requested. But received no reply or acknowledgement to date. Very poor customer service.

   Nice little usual Lidl with friendly staff even though there was a lack of them. Didn't have everything I wanted, and the flowers were all old and shouldn't be on display. Rest was ok. Needed a clean up the day i was there

   Good tools but beware the 3 year guarantee isn't worth the paper it's wrote on, I had a tool that broke after 2 years and as tools are a constant stocked item it got sent back to Germany and the problems with I had, I could write a book. Eventually the tool got lost or whatever and I was offered £7 as it was 2 years old even though it cost £49.99. I know the trolls will say it was cheap enough at £49.99 and its lasted 2 years, but that's not the point, if you offer a 3 year guarantee you should honour it.

   A good little store. I noticed upon entering how clean and tidy the store is kept in, like they take pride in it. They have a great selection of fresh pastries, cobs, rolls, cakes. There aren't many different options of the same item but hey, it isn't sainsburys! The prices, although gone up, is still a reasonable place to shop. I get as much as I can from there and then maybe just get my sausage, bacon and ham from asda as Lidl do not stock the brand I like. But overall, since the skyrocketing prices I now do majority of my bulk shopping here and to be honest, I think it's good to try their brands first and if not for you, at least you know. Staff very efficient and friendly, I would recommend this store!
