A lady was putting reduction labels on about 12 candles i asked her if they were 50% off she said yes. Took one to the till the lady that served me had already rolled her eyes about the previous customer, the when she served me she said it was £25 I said the lady had just told me it was reduced, she said very rudely no £25 must've been a mistake.
M&S food store is really nice
I bought what I came for, underwear. I'm disabled and you only had one lift working. But I still had a good time shopping
Great store in an ideal central location. Friendly staff, plenty of options, and a fab food hall.
Looks tired and old. Hot inside. Food section is OK, but not as good as The White Rose in Leeds. Parking is awful and not free. Beggars outside. Druggies in the precinct. I remember this place as a small person when buses pulled up outside, dropping people off. Sadly this is one of the saddest, and one of the poorest M&S' in the country.
Needed to exchange an online order for a different size. The gentleman at the till point was extremely helpful and went to get the item in the correct size from the display. As an added bonus, the home delivery charge was refunded which I wasn't expecting. Top service from this gentleman and a credit to M&S.
I went to Meadowhall today for a little black bag, , and although it was not on display a lovely assistant called Joanne, went above and beyond to locate the bag in store.I cannot thank her enough as I have been making 3-4 trips a week on the off chance of the bag being in store as it’s not available on line to order . The staff on click and collect went above and beyond to help me with my purchase that I'd ordered from the app, pair of boots ,the boots are perfect but the staff were friendly,helpful and sorted my order with care and efficiency, the boots wernt due to arrive for another 2 weeks but they were in store so swapped the order over so I could purchase there and then at the orig price ftom the app nothing was any trouble, thank you....Fri 25th November 2022
The worst shopping experience I've ever had! We booked a bra fitting and arrived 10 minutes before our booking and were told to wait by the fitting rooms. After 25 minutes waiting we approached another staff member who told us thar no one was working today to fit bras. The lady then tried to book me in for two weeks time on a day that there once more wouldn't be anyone in to fit bras (another staff member pointed that out to her after she'd booked me in) so after a completely wasted 20 mile round trip they were trying to get me to have another wasted trip! I think I'll go elsewhere. Never will I use this shop again.
A massive thank you to all the staff in the food hall that helped my wonderful mum, she was doing her shopping and started feeling dizzy. They got her a chair, gave her a drink, rang her a taxi and made sure she was safely in it with her shopping. I'm extremely grateful to you all, she's doing fine, but you might not see her shopping every Friday. Doctor as told her she needs to take it easy while they get to the bottom of the problem. Your truly wonderful ❤
