Very terrible and Horrible experience at this store. There's is a store assistant that needs to be fired or trained in customer service (he's heavily bearded) with a and conflict resolution and de-escalation. All the supervisory staffs also need to do better and I was shocked as the terrible experience I had this morning.
Well presented and clean. I think the fruit and veg section is really good value. I will certainly be coming back for a good shopping experience
Our favourite shop but please can you add a bread slicer. Whenever we travel abroad, the Lidl shops there have bread slicers, I'm not sure why the ones in the UK don't.
Nightmare Friday evening , could not get to wine and beer due to big que for self service tills and just one manned till open with a que up to top end of shop causing arguments, where was the manager? Why not open spare tills there was enough staff about , i had full trolley wish i had just left it now, had to call elsewhere on way home for wine. Not good never again
Convenient and reliable, so long as you're flexible with your shopping list. No better place to go after a late night Friday takeaway for sweet things and a stroll down the centre aisle.
Good prices with a basic range and some premium products. Can get congested when staff are restocking, but has a high turnover of stock. Plenty of extra parking if you drive through to the end past the chemist, overlooking Chesterfield Rd. On a main bus route.
Nice place. Good service. Sandwiches and prosecco very good. Felt cakes bit Bland and only 1 choice each. Prefer a small variety of cakes v one big slab. Would go again though.
A good sized Lidl with reasonably priced, good quality produce and an excellent in store bakery. Typical European style supermarket, with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. The bakery is really the star here, regularly stocked and freshly made. Tills can get busy but there is also a handful of self-checkouts too.
