   ⚠️ Honest Review – Be Careful Before Selling Your Gold Here! ⚠️ I brought in 50 grams of 22-carat gold to this shop, and they tried to give me only £30 per gram — that’s a complete joke. Anyone who knows the real market price can see this is way below the actual value. They tried to take advantage of me as if I wouldn’t notice! When I asked for my gold back, they said I’d have to pay an extra £150 just to get it returned — absolutely ridiculous. That’s not how a professional business should treat customers. Be careful when dealing with this place — they act polite, but when it comes to money, they’ll try to rob you with a smile. I’m writing this so nobody else gets scammed the same way.

   Saw a lovely Tag Heuer watch in their window this week for £995. Went inside to try it on and was advised I needed to have a photo ID. So I drove home, got my passport, went back to the shop and tried on the watch. I loved it and agreed to purchase it. Got to the till and was advised that they had displayed the wrong price and it was actually £2600.00 (big difference). They wasted my whole afternoon. Complained to head office and was advised they would sell me the watch for £2400 as a good will gesture. I fail to see any good will in charging me £2400 for a watch which was priced at £995. **** UPDATE ***** I did contact their complaints team, as they advised, I chased them after 4 weeks and was advised they have an 8 week time scale. I waited just over 8 weeks and was told there was nothing further they were prepared to do. I would avoid this company like the plague.

   Staff are trying their best to deal with the public but the shop is often overfilled with customers with no social distancing observed and many customers not wearing masks. This is not helped by the fact that the managers spend a lot of their time outside the shop smoking and not helping the other staff at all. Very sad that the managers are chasing profits and ignoring public safety in these difficult times.

   We had a watch left to us by an aunt , my brother went here last week with the watch and was given a price of £150 for selling it provided we have a new battery fitted into it and so my brother came away with the watch . I had a battery fitted into the watch and went back with it today . The gentleman I spoke to took photos etc , i told him that my brother had been quoted £150 . His quote was only £100 , his explanation for the difference being that it must have been someone else dealing with it last time , I am annoyed with myself for not replying " so are you saying if I had gone to a different member of staff I would have received £150 ? And because you are dealing with it I am being offered £50 less " I should have walked out , I wish I had but the thought of having to travel into Bolton again with a watch I had no use for put me off . I won't be going into the shop again , the quoted price should be based on the value of the item and should not vary depending on which member of staff you go to that is ridiculous . I can't remember the blokes name , he said he had only been there for 3 or 4 weeks , it was a female member of staff that quoted my brother .
