Loving my beautiful Gel nails today by the lovely Vicky at the Maria Elena salon in Rickmansworth. Loving the subtle touch of white flowers on my thumb and toes with this classic and classy French manicure. Belated thanks also for my sparkly Gel nails which I had done for a very special Celebration party in July - a definite must for those of us that love twinkles!! Thank you so much again ladies !! I went in for a pedicure, plenty of colour's to pick from. The shop was quite which ment it was relaxing.

Disappointing. I'd thought to treat myself to a pedicure whilst recovering from surgery. Well-established salon is bright and pretty. In a side room, my feet were briefly soaked. Therapist was pleasant, but a bit brisk with the file and clippers. My feet were creamed and wrapped in cling film and put into heated bootees. Cling film slid off immediately, covering the inside of the bootees with cream as I sat for 10 minutes trying not to think of how many other clients' foot cream was squishing around in there with mine. Out of bootees, cream wiped off and nail polish applied. Then I was left for well over an hour for it to dry. The therapist never checked in on me, offered me a cup of tea, or asked if I needed anything. Two other clients came and went. Eventually I just called my husband to come and get me and left - called 'goodbye' - she never even checked that I'd even paid. Sorry to leave a poor review, but I didn't feel particularly pampered for my £30. Nail polish colour: 10/10. Customer service: 3/10.

I Went for a pedicure which was awful. TheTherapist asked me to put my feet in a bowl which was cold and looked like it had been used by someone else. The towels looked dirty and while doing my pedicure she cut my cuticles which bled then another therapist used them straight after! The salon looks Shabby and the skirting and walls could do with a lick of paint! I would not recommend Maria Elena as on top of the issues above I did not feel pampered of relaxed!

Maria and team did a wonderful job with my bridal make up for which I am eternally grateful as I have great pictures with fond memories. I dont wear make up very often and didnt really know what I wanted. Maria invited me for a consultation to which we worked out what was best for my sensitive skin and then also what suited my personality and what I was going to wear (I had to two outfits). The pampering on the actual day was awesome too. Would 100% use Maria again for any type of beauty advice or pampering. :)

After numerous mediocre facials at multiple salons over the years, I gave Maria Elena a try and I have to say I came out of the salon feeling like a completely different person - Maria had worked wonders. Maria took the time to understand my current skincare regime was, what my areas of concerns are and ensured the treatment was tailored to what I needed. I am so pleased with the outcome that I am now a regular customer. Great location, convenient parking, clean modern decor.

During my waxing the treatment was rushed because the room was double booked. I had to point out missing areas. Unpleasant experience. Got false lashes put on 6months ago part of sale. Looked impressive. Service for application was great but they fell off so quickly.
