   Awful experience. Do not use this salon. Booked for a massage. Still not seen 45 mins after scheduled time. No explanation or apology . Left as my parking was going to run out. I had to endure the most awful loud foreign music while the staff danced around and shouted at each other. Left without my treatment and with a splitting headache.

   I visited here after viewing the Groupon Voucher, unfortunately I would not recommend anyone to visit this salon and avoid it under all circumstances! I was sat waiting for 1 hour for my appointment, which I didn't mind because I was late to my appointment. When the appointment started my treatment was continuously stopped because they had forgotten that they had taken appointments. The lady kept reassuring me that the cut would only take 1 hour. An hour and a half later I was still sat in a chair with no idea of when I would leave! Finally 3 hours later I was about to leave the salon and I was asked to pay a bump of £50 instead of the initial £29 quoted. I managed to get this down to £40 but all in all it was a horrendous experience and I would steer clear from this place!

   Absolutely terrible. Had a Groupon voucher for highlights cut and blow-dry with a friend. We were forgotten about. I had my hair half cut when the lady realised she hadn't washed the bleach out of my friends. Her boss then came over and tried to blow dry my half cut hair. My lowlights also came out completely unnoticeable. My friend got charged £20 extra for having long hair despite the fact that they hacked the length off before they began dying/styling it. Utterly terrible experience.

   My mother and I went to turquoise for a keratin treatment and are extremely disappointed for the result. The staff do not seem well trained and the treatment was different and less intense then the other salons we have visited. Our hair has gone back to frizzy and wavy, something that hasn’t happened in the last treatments we’ve had. Also the cleanliness is slightly worrisome. I think their other treatments are better (waxing, threading, massage, etc) but would not recommend for keratin.

   I came to this salon for a balayage and hair cut. The lady had no idea what she was doing and didn't seem to even know what a balayage was as the result to my hair was disastrous. They left it with lines and almost squares in my hair and it was not blended at all, so my hair went from black straight to blonde with visible uneven lines in between. What's worse the lady tried to convince me it looked good!! When I got home I was so upset at how I looked I did not even want to leave the house, and as a dentist I am constantly meeting new people and felt embarassed to go to work. When we complained the lady refused to give us a refund. She offered for me to come back and have it corrected and said this would only take an hour. I refused this as it was clear they had no idea what they were doing, and the information she gave was incorrect as when I went to another salon to get it sorted out it took 3 hours with 4 different stylists working on my hair at the same time, and even then they couldn't get my desired result due to the damage that had already been done. They were amazed at the lack of skill at what had been done and said I would've done a better job doing it myself at home! Turquoise lacked expertise, care and professionalism and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.

   Do not go to this salon!!! I have just come from there and whilst the colour is nice, the ‘blowout’ (if you can even call it that) is AWFUL and I was there for FOUR AND A HALF HOURS!!! There was absolutely no professionalism whatsoever. The hairdresser who cut my hair put the gown on BACK TO FRONT, so the hair dye (blonde) got onto my jeans (black), she left me half way through my foils to wash somebody else’s hair, and then had to rush the rest of my foils to get the bottom ones out. The towel was soaked after the bottom foils were taken out, and I wasn’t given another one after I took it off, so when she washed the rest of my foils out, she just put the same soaking wet one on me again. When I left the salon, my back was SOAKING. She also dyed her eyebrows, washed her hair and blow dryed it all whilst I was sitting there as a client! I asked her at 3:30 how long it was going to be (I had been there for 2 and a half hours at that point, and I now really needed to get going as one, that’s a ridiculous amount of time, and two, I had plans, and I told her that, too!) and she said 40 mins or no more than an hour. AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER I was leaving, AND THEN they charged an extra £20, even though I was using a Groupon and it didn’t mention anything about additional charges. All the while the woman at the till was on the phone, and I just had to wait till she got off the phone. Absolutely terrible. I’ve never had such a bad experience at a salon, I honestly haven’t. I suspect because I was white, they didn’t treat me well, as anyone else who came in of their nationality was treated much better and quicker than I was. Can’t believe it. They should be embarrassed to treat people like that.
