   Good testing. Not rushed. Good explanations. Reasonable value for money. But I think the “extras” are a little overpriced and less affordable. If you want wider varifocal lenses, it starts to become expensive. I’ll have to make do with the standard lenses as I can’t afford fuller, better lenses.

   Really friendly staff, very helpful and efficient. I had my OCT scan and eye test, and there was only a slight deteriation in my eyesight, so where "other opticians" would have strongly advised to buy new glasses, I asked if the deteriation was enough to justify buying new & was told no, if I was coping ok with my current prescription then see how I go. If I struggle anytime in the next 12 months I should contact them to advise. They could have quite easily made me buy new, when not necessary

   Staff at Specsavers were friendly and helpful as usual. Mr Sadique the optometrist was really helpful explaining the condition of my eyes after having cataract surgery in my left eye where things have gone wrong, and still not right 6 months on. Hopefully the new glasses will help alleviate some problems

   Arranged for an eye test to take place due to feeling a foreign body in my eye for some time. Arrived for my appointment and I was greeted and seen promptly. The test itself was quick and easy. The optician described what was happening throughout and then provided reassurance that everything was okay with great detail and in an easy to understand way. At the same time I had a prescription test, finding my prescription had changed. A member of staff then helped me to pick out two new pairs of glasses. I picked them up a week later and I'm very happy with them. All round a great experience with helpful staff, efficient and effective processes and a great price with discount on the designer glasses I chose. Would always recommend!

   I attended as an emergency having done a triage over the phone to your receptionist I was given an appointment quickly and saw Thamina AKHTAR who was brilliant I cannot thank her enough because without her swift actions I may have gone totally blind in hours. She indicated I have GCA which I have. I am so great full to all your staff even a number of receptionist who I spoke to Friday and Saturday morning who both were superb xx

   Always so rude never have your best interest at heart. Always rush customers to choose glasses they DON’T want and act very unprofessionally when you say you want more time. Glasses are something people have to live with, do not pressure them in picking a pair they don’t like, or to buy a more expensive pair they’re not interested in! This is not just one bad experience, this is every time I go in to specsavers.

   Fabulous staff very helpful showing me different styles of frames to suit very happy with my choices. I love my Cath Kidston glasses have had lots of lovely comments about them. Both my Glasses and sunglasses are really nice comfortable to wear you hardly know you're wearing them. Thank you everyone at Castleford Specsavers you're the best .
