I previously had a curly hair cut here in August and after some time I have to write how disappointed I was with my hair cut. The layers were completely uneven all over - one side was longer than the other. After attending another salon today they took the time to talk me through what they assume happened and unfortunately they had to cut my hair short due to the unevenness of the layers previous done. Also at the time no products were used on my hair or heat protectant which was also unfortunate.

I had the most amazing and relaxing facial with Chantelle. A great mix of treatment alongside incredible massage. She fully tailored everything to my skin type and preferences. Will be back as soon as possible for a massage!

The rating is mostly for hygienic reasons rather than the staff (Rupe) who did the wax. Rupe was a lovely professional who gave me good advice on how to look after the area and was very considerate as a person. She made atmosphere feel warm and comfortable. Her customer service was 100%! She even was really nice with giving grace time as I was running 7 minutes late. Even better ifs for the salon to grow on things that can be picked up from customers who get regular waxes. This isn’t to bash but mostly, things to do better next time as I’m very particular on my the services on my body. These things are fixable and easily fixed. 1. Change the brown towel. The brown towel needs to be binned. Not washed or conditioned but binned. Staff need to buy new fresh/soft towels that don’t look overused or used by the people before my appointment. There were loads of white stains on it (not sure what it was) but was asked to cover myself with it, wasn’t comfortable with that idea. Let’s not use the same towel for each customer. 2. Wax professionals are meant to dip once with one stick and throw away to prevent contamination. 1 wax stick was used for my front and back. Makes me worry about bacteria in the wax and could cause skin problems for other women. Please use one wax stick for one strip. 3. The bed was unlevelled. It was comfortable but I felt like I could fall onto one side either the bed is Brocken or the floor is unlevelled. Either way, it’s not safe. Change it. 4. Using your mouth to cool down the wax is harmful. Your mouth has bacteria and blowing onto the wax to cool down, is unhygienic. Please find a way to lower the heat or use a different machine. 5. When oiling/creaming: please do this from front to back now back to front as you would do when you wipe yourself. 6. Be weary of how much powder you use, it’s not good for women’s organs already but you left it so much inside - it made me itch afterwards. Professionals in the past have asked to use a clean flannel/wipes and wipes down after powder placement. There was no flannel offered or wipes offered to wipe it out or even at the beginning of the appointment. Please also, take off access wax! Would still come back if these changes were made! Please take it as feedback for growth! Staff and atmosphere was 10/10. Place is very cute! X

Been coming here for a few years now. Every man should have a pedicure before getting their feet out in the summer. Great atmosphere. Excellent therapists. Very competitive £.

If I could give this place 0 star's I would. I came in for some grey highlights. I was told to bring my own dye as the salon doesn't provide dye. This should have been the 1st red flag. I came with 1 bottle of dye (which I showed Olly) as I only wanted a few highlights. Tell me why almost the whole head was bleached. After washing out the bleach, I was then told that there wasn't enough dye to complete my har. She said that she would do her best to make the dye I bought stretch. The end result was absolutely appalling (thank god it was cold and I came with a hat). I was left with patches of bleached hair and blotches of grey. I was also told I had to pay whilst I was halfway through my treatment as the shop was closing, another red flag. I was booked in for a 2 hour slot starting at 2.30. I didn't come out until after 6. No apology nothing. Just told that it took longer because my hair is long. That's it that's all. I had to go down to superdrugs the next day to go and buy more dye o fix the mess the 7 year professional loctian did. I called back the salon the Monday and spoke to the owner, who seemed surprised at the results, she said she was happy to give me a full refund even without speaking to Olly or seeing pictures (maybe this has beppend before) anyway as I stated to Olly at my appointment I have been scarred by so called hairdressers before, she assured me I was in good hands. I will NEVER trust another hairdresser again. (I even showed pictures of what I wanted,.... inserted)

The lady poured some alcoholic solution on my back without warning which has burnt my skin and left permanent damage. Will never return

If you are looking for a good hands on facial (no machines doing the work!) then look no further. I had a facial and massage and so pleased with both treatments. Very friendly, warm down to earth therapists that make you feel at ease. The rooms are a good size and don't feel claustrophobic This is my go to place now locally!
