Been coming here many years but ended up walking out. Constantly told to just wait even though been waiting over 20 mins just for some fish but both member of staff busier with furry animals regardless of the amount of people queuing for fish. Poor customer service and just seemed not enough staff
Bought a lot of dog food. Assistant on checkout cheerfully helped me take it out and load it into the car. Excellent price and service!
Recently purchased tropical fish from this store and they are doing well. The fish is display tanks are well looked after and in good condition. I will shop here again for Tropical Fish.
The guy at the till (sorry - I didn't ask or see your name) was really helpful, friendly and knew the store. I took my dog in and she had an 'accidental' wee. I asked for a cloth/tissues to clear up. He said "no problem" and walked away, I assumed to get a mop. He came back with a 'wet floor' sign and said "I'll sort it". I'm sure mine wasn't the first.
Regular customer at pets@home Bolton. They have a wide range of pet supplies, offer dog grooming facilities and have an in store vets… they sell fish, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits and Guinea pigs. Only downside is their prices, I usually buy cat litter elsewhere as it’s cheaper.
They have more staff, Quickly served with de-flea for the cat, picked up a nice new pink collar while shopping around. Good happy Staff. Plenty of parking on the retail park. Traffic much better now they have nearly finished the roadworks.
They generally have the larger bags of cat food I buy for our trio as opposed to ordering online. Quick, polite pleasant service. But couldn't find any water fountains.
Helpful staff, you can get almost all your needs for most pets, Birds, mice dogs ,cats, lizards, fish and more. It can be very busy and sometimes they need another member of staff on the shop floor.
Nipped in for dog food but wish I hadn't. The service was terrible, only 1staff member working her way through a very long queue. Not her fault I know but maybe it would be better if they had self service checkouts if they aren't willing to pay for the appropriate amount of staff.
THE WORST GROOM ROOM I HAVE EVER ATTENDED. Normally we regularly go to the bury groom room, but due to covid restrictions, they were fully booked so I thought each groom room would have a standard to abide by!. How wrong was I.. I have a shih tzu and paid £52 for a standard groom no extras, my dog as you will see in the pictures was not to any standard, she has long arm put hairs, bald patches all over. Just no care what's so ever. Worst is, I asked the groomers had she been okay, her reply perfect she didn't even move.... OKAY EXPLAIN he hair then.. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, ITS NOT FAIR ON YOUR ANIMAL. A formal complaint has been made also.
