A nice old fashioned feel. Watched Cinderella with the kids and we all loved it! We grabbed the last remaining tickets and was sat close to the front which I worried about but turned out perfectly fine. Not many snacks selection in the bar and only 2 toilets in the ladies which isn't ideal when there are school classes lined up, ouch. Parked at Hill Street car park for £10 3 hours. Overall was lovely and would visit again.

Has a lovely old fashioned theatre atmosphere with a tall stage. It isnt huge which allows you to immerse in the show really nicely. We went for a children event so it was perfect. The seats have a decent amount of space, however, the stairs are steep so not very disability friendly but there is a ground floor entrance on the side

First time at the Old Rep, short walk from New Station Station. Brought tickets at the door for the show - Piaf. First impression, small cosy, old fashion theatre. We sat the far back and we could see and hear the stage clearly. We didn't have anyone sitting in the row infront of us but I can imagine that they would partially obscure the view unlike at the New Rep theatre. Enjoyed the show, singing and dancing from an amateur production about the lifelong of Edith Piaf. No purchase from the confectionery counter.

As usual with any theatre / venue, a lot depends upon the "act" presented. Rich Hall tonight (18 March 2023) filled the place. It is quite intimate place and perfectly suited his show.

Very old listed building. Beware there are no lifts if you are sitting in the balcony there are a lot of stairs to get there so unsuitable for someone with mobility issues. It's a great fitness work out getting to your seats. Seriously so many steps! Seating all though tiered doesn't work that well. I was in 2nd row in balcony see photos before and after people in 1st row took their seats. I think again this is due to the theatres age. Thankfully you don't need to go downstairs to the bathroom it's just up another couple of flights of stairs. However the 1 Toilet didn't flush and the 1 sink didn't work in the bathroom near the balcony in the male toilets. Staff are friendly.

Lovely little theatre,we were in the stalls and were able to see the stage easily. The staff were helpful and friendly. My young Grandaughter and myself enjoyed Beauty and the Beast.

Lovely experience during Birmingham heritage week. We had a lovely tour and talk with a afternoon tea on the stage. They adjusted to dietary needs as required.

Beautiful old theatre with amazing history, loads of famous people have appeared there, only down side for me at 6"3 , bit tight on leg room and a bit steep
