I feel like this is the last time I will use this place. I was passed from nail artist to nail artist four times and began my manicure perched on the edge of a pedicure chair which was neither professional or comfortable. The owner basically bullied me into a more expensive service and then complained very loudly and publicly about the fact I hadn't tipped. On top of this they made my daughter bleed. As a neuro divergent person I would avoid this at all costs.

I visited LCA Clinic a year ago for hair removal and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel at ease. The procedure was quick, virtually painless, and highly effective. I noticed a significant reduction in hair growth after just one session. I highly recommend LCA Clinic for their excellent service and results

I recently had an absolutely dreadful experience at this Lc Aesthetics salon that left me deeply disappointed and regretful for choosing their services. I had booked an appointment through Treatwell for a haircut after my regular hairdresser canceled unexpectedly but I took time off as needed a haircut before a family event. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a beauty salon turned out to be primarily an Asian mani-pedi place with minimal hairdressing staff available. Upon entering the salon, I was immediately greeted by a tremendous and toxic odor that was not only unpleasant but also triggered gagging reflexes, irritated my eyes, and even caused a migraine. The salon was excessively loud, making it difficult to hear the hairdresser speaking even from a short distance. To add to the disappointing atmosphere, I was welcomed by a confused Asian manager who directed me to sit on a sticky couch. There was no designated area to leave coats or belongings, adding to the overall lack of organization and cleanliness. When it came to the actual haircut, my experience went from bad to worse. Despite providing a clear explanation and even showing a picture, I had to spend additional time explaining the simple U-shaped cut I desired. What was even more concerning was the fact that the salon completely disregarded my note made during the booking regarding sensitive skin and provided me with two product options, both containing harmful ingredients such as SLES, SLS, sulfates, keratin, alcohol, and silicone (dimethicone). This lack of attention to customer requirements was completely unprofessional. The hairdresser's lack of professionalism became evident throughout the appointment. She failed to brush my hair before washing it, and I had to request that she wash her hands after observing her touching her previous customer. Throughout the haircut, she continuously pulled and tugged at my hair instead of being careful and gentle. To make matters worse, she used dirty brushes with other people's hair on them, even rubbing the brush into my scalp. Additionally, she applied very hot air to my hair when drying, dangerously close to my skin. The entire experience was unhygienic and uncomfortable, to say the least. Upon returning home, I noticed knots and damage to my forehead's baby hair, leaving me with the impression that my hair was drier than before the appointment. I don't know what was conditioner used but my hair is now looking fried and frizzy so I suspect that another protein was in the condition the hairdresser used despite me providing her with information in the booking that my hair is highly porous… Furthermore, I experienced an itchy scalp, raising concerns about potential fungal or parasitic infections. While I hope I haven't contracted any such issues, the overall lack of cleanliness and hygiene in the salon makes me question the safety of their practices. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this salon and strongly advise others to avoid it as well. The horrendous odor, unprofessional staff, lack of cleanliness, and disregard for customer requirements make it an establishment that should be avoided at all costs. Save yourself the stress and look for a salon that prioritizes professionalism, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

Laser Elena is friendly, does a great job and cares about her customers. The manager however is rude and has 0 customer service skills or care for her customers. She does not run a business well! Communication is poor and it is almost impossible to change an appointment or call to book one if this is not done after your appointment. Rules apply to suit them e.g if they cancel an appointment last minute or if they are late it is fine. From speaking to other laser customers, I know they have had similar experiences.

I have a holiday tomorrow and was looking for a last minute wax. I was waxed by Dinkle and I honestly the most AMAZING experience ever. She was so friendly and so gentle. I was in course due to be in pain (as it was a wax) but by the end I was completely fine as she helped me with my breaking. Incredible woman. I would travel the distance again anytime. Incredible service!

They don’t care about your hair. It’s all about the money. Such a shame because I’ve recommended so many people here before. Turned up to my appointment and when I explained that due to previous bleach damage at this salon I wanted very few highlights done this time, they refused and said it’s either I do full head or can’t get my deposit back. How can a hairdresser not care about ur hair like this? Anyway in the end they agreed to do toner with olaplex and charged me a disgusting £90 for it. There is absolutely no change to my hair aside from it being drier than it was before I went there. I feel conned

I had two good haircuts here and I arrived for my third appointment today when they called me to cancel 10 minutes before. This is not okay when you have booked time off work and travelled by train to the appointment. I won’t be returning.

I had 6 sessions of laser hair removal at this clinic. I found the place spacious and i liked the fact that you could get everything done in one place, from nails to hair and other specialised treatments such as laser removal sessions. It just makes life convenient as opposed to visiting different branches for different purposes. However, what really made this place exceptionally outstanding is my assigned laser therapist - Elena. Elana was incredibly warm and professional with brilliant people-skills. She always greeted me with a smile and was always very positive. I felt like she was my friend by the end of treatment so I was sad our journey came to an end. But I will definitely visit again given the 5 star results i’ve had. Thank you Elena for being marvellous. You’re a credit to your company as well as this world with your positive energy.

Anna is amazing! Normally my scalp gets irritated after stylists use clippers on me: I didn’t have this issue with Anna. Also, she put me at ease, with her knowledge about how they safely bleach my hair type “ thick & dark” I love colouring my hair in crazy colours & she gave me plenty of advice on how to take care of it at home. I will be trusting my hair to her for as long as we live in this area. All in all very happy! Norah
