Refreshing to find a hairdresser who provides a quality service and leaves my hair looking and feeling great each and every time. The salon is clean and tidy and well equipped. Michelle is also excellent at doing European and afro hair. Extremely happy client.

   Michelle cut my two daughters hair - 8 and 11. We’d been needing to go for ages but both were nervous about having their lovely long curls cut at all!recommended to Michelle who was amazing. She really listened to what they wanted and we knew we were in a safe pair of hands. Their hair looks great, just what they wanted. And she’s lovely too!

Kept in touch with me and provided hair advice during the lockdown and updated clients (via Zoom) prior to reopening after lockdown, which reassured me about the safety measures introduced to keep her customers and staff safe.

   Sophistique Hair and Beauty is the Hair Hub of Dulwich for customers from a wide range of backgrounds. It’s like home from home. Everyone knows each other, we talk and laugh together and it’s always a wonderful experience upon each visit. You are looked after with kindness, a friendly service, and refreshments during your visit (Pre-Corona). And the attention to details to your hair needs are well met by CEO and hairdresser Michell Simpson! I’ve been many places around the world and had many a hand my hair but no-one does my hair like Michelle. She is simply exceptionally skilled in her craft, carries an abundance of knowledge and cares about the needs and wants of the customer. She’s also slightly my therapist : ) lol
