   ⭐☆☆☆☆ Appalling service and unacceptable treatment – will never return I visited Glow Nails last Thursday and paid £30 for my nails. The result is absolutely appalling. I didn’t realise just how bad the work was until I got home and put my glasses on. The finish is uneven, messy, and looks completely unprofessional. I am genuinely upset, especially as this is so close to Christmas — no one should be paying £30 to have nails that look like this. Lisa, who did my nails, was friendly on the surface, so this is not personal. However, the quality of her work is unacceptable and falls far below a professional standard. What made the experience worse was how I was treated when it came to payment. Despite being a returning customer (this was my fifth visit), I was made to stand there and complete a bank transfer in front of her, as if there was an assumption that I wouldn’t pay. I found this humiliating and completely inappropriate. To make matters worse, I even went out of my way to support their new restaurant next door and spent money there out of goodwill. I will not be returning to have my nails redone. Based on the attitude I experienced, I fully expect that doing so would result in hostility rather than a professional resolution. This was my fifth visit, but it will absolutely be my last. I will not be returning and I cannot recommend this salon to others.

   I have been using Glo Nails for a very long time now and would definitely recommend them. All the nail technicians are fantastic! It’s so nice to get your nails done in a family run business and having an atmosphere that is friendly is just another star to add to the five star rating.

   Honestly I’m NEVER going back to this nail shop again. The guy who done my nails was miserable & had an attitude. Not to mention rushed the whole thing and my nails look horrible, your made to feel to feel so uncomfortable for even saying anything such a cold atmosphere and the depressing sad radio station they play doesn’t help. When I go for a treatment of any sort I want to feel relaxed- not on edge! I wasn’t 100% happy the last time I went in there but today confirmed I will not be returning, I only went back due to convenience. My outgrown nails I walked in with looked better than the ones I came out with.

   I have used Glo Nails for years but have never left a review. I’m doing so now. If I could give Glo more stars I would. Tony and his team are consistently brilliant. Not only am I always happy with my gels, I love the overall atmosphere and vibe. Friendly, funny, accommodating and not in one bit clicky, I would never go anywhere else.
